We spent 3 nights at this quaint, but perfectly sized cabin. It was well-equipped (we like to cook) and it was super clean and welcoming. The owners were wonderful and really responsive, even during the holiday season. Highly recommend.
The owners were very responsive to every question. The cabin has everything you need and then some. Thank you for having firewood available to purchase at a great price. We loved our nightly game nights by the fireplace. This will become our new Wirghtwood home. Thank you for your hospitality!

We are so delighted you enjoyed your stay and made some great family memories - we would be happy to have you back anytime!
Wonderful. The cabin is in a quiet part of town, 15 minute walk (or 3 minute drive) to shops & restaurants. The hosts, Julie & Denis, were accommodating and quick to respond to the few questions I had. My husband and I had a very comfortable, relaxing stay.
Very clean and comfortable cabin, very quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors if you saw them, plenty of board games, and fully functional kitchen. Kids were able to sled in the back yard without leaving and Mt High is a short drive away. Skate & children's park is walking distance. Beds were comfortable and we had a great experience. Thank you Julie and Denis.

Thanks for the kind words Shawn. You and your family were great! Hope you made some fabulous memories
We went up to see snow, the cabin was perfect with the backyard full of snow we had a terrific time at the cabin and it was close to mt high resort and wrightwood restaurants. Master bedroom was cooler than the other bedroom and smart thermostat system acted out one of the nights but communication with hosts were immediate. Definitely thinking of going back.

Loved this place! Cute and cozy. Even got to experience amazing snow. Quick drive to Mountain High. Julie (owner) was great with communication. We will certainly be back! Highly recommend.
Very cozy cabin. Complimentary items/ items for purchase were a plus. Very short drive to town. Cabin has a very good vibe overall but the shower is small and needs to be re-done.

About the host
Hosted by Denis & Julie Bolton
The adventures of Denis and Julie began when they met on the first day of medical school in 1995. During medical training they traveled the country in a 97 celiac living in a different city most every month for 2 years. During and between they prioritized extended travels abroad from medical exchange and courtship in Spain and England to honeymoon in Honduras and several adventures in South American including Galapagos and Easter Island. Last hurrah before parenthood was a pilgrimage to the first country to track Gross National Happiness, Bhutan. Harrison joined on in 2009, getting his first passport at 3 months old. At 5 Harrison became probably the only child to scooter from Long Beach to San Diego in a 3 day trek - Denis biking with a travel trailer, and Julie on skates as the caboose. School years and COVID has caused a pivot toward local camping and skiing, when Wrightwood property Mandala 1 joined the team.
While we enjoy cosmopolitan fine dining as much as the next guy, most of their meals are home cooked, of 28 meals per week, the Bolton’s prepare from scratch or leftovers 24 of the meals, many week nights with drop in friends and on weekend breakfasts. After 20 years of this they’ve learned many of cooking and food prep tricks to share.
When not cooking and traveling and having fun, Denis works as partner in a hospital based Radiology group, while Julie practices Family Medicine in a private group in Newport Beach. Harrison currently lives with relatives abroad and attends the Giggleswick Academy. Their 18 year old cat Nigel, enjoys being petted and laying in the sun
