Property was great for our purposes. Definitely dog friendly, the backyard was large and completely fenced in. There is one corner that our larger dog could have jumped over, but our dog is BIG, so normal doggos would be fine (ours never attempted). The manager, Teresa, was SUPER communicative and friendly. She was very quick to answer questions. Definitely an older home, but well kept.
Loved this place and so did our two dogs! I liked the casual decor and outdoor fenced yard. We felt very much at home. The house is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown. Teresa was very nice and very responsive. We hope to stay here again!

Great little house with good location for a La Grande base camp
Host was very nice. The beds are not comfortable. Kitchen, dining and living room were very nice. All dishes were dirty in every cupboard so we washed what we neede to eat with before using. Yard was pretty good but has poor lightening. We would stay again but needs cleaned up first.

The inside was great and fit our needs. The host is very friendly and willing to assist with any questions. The yard and shrubs need some attention. If you were bringing a pet that would need to be considered. Overall we were very happy!
This home was just right for what I needed — my dog was happy, too! Perfect and close to EOU for me to come visit my son! Love that there was a washer/dryer, too! Thank you!

You are very welcome Kathleen.
I am so glad you enjoyed the house.
You are welcome back anytime.
The house was the perfect stop on the way from one adventure to the next. The kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes we needed to make a healthy meal away from home. The beds were comfortable. The owner left a few little soaps that smelled great.
spacious property with 2 bedrooms and an extra room we used for the little one. Property was clean and spacious and had a fenced in backyard (not sure if pets are allowed, but would make sense).
We had a fantastic stay while visiting La Grande for a basketball game at Eastern Oregon University. The location was perfect, just a short drive to the campus and local dining spots. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had a smooth check-in and a pleasant experience. The cozy atmosphere made it easy to unwind after the game, and the quiet neighborhood was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to La Grande!
Amazing stay! Forget hotels and motels!! For the same price or less you can have all the comforts of home!!! Wonderful quiet neighborhood, nice fenced back yard and big front porch!! Great for my extra large doggies!! I was hauling a little 5x8 trailer and was able to back that into the fenced area, unhook and not have to haul it around while I stayed there!!! Trust me you won't go back to hotels!!

The property is very old (which is charming) but any updates were minimal or not well done. There were dust bunnies in the corners of the master bedroom and overall it felt minimally cleaned. The beds were comfortable, bedding was old and worn. For the price, we expected more.
Overall it was ok. It was close to 100 in La Grande. This house wasn’t set up for such warm weather. Only a small window unit for entire house.

I'm sorry about the heat Jeff, usually with the window AC and the ceiling fans, extra fan if needed it keeps it more than cool in there. As you know this is a record setting heat temperatures in Eastern Oregon.
We don't normally have a call for more.
I hope everything else was good.
We were quite disappointed with this house. When we pulled up to it we could barely tell if we were at the right place. The grass was long and the bushes were so overgrown that you could barely see the house. We literally had to move branches aside to walk up the stairs to the front door. The carpet inside was gross. Stains all over in we every room. The main chair in the living room was stained as well.
I sent a text to the host expressing our concerns and was in no way rude about it but she did not even have the courtesy to respond back to me. Therefore I would not recommend this property to others.
We had a fun weekend here with kids and dog. Pendleton Round Up about an hour drive, rental fit our needs perfectly. Teresa is really nice and responsive when we had questions.

Fall in La Grande
Stayed mid October and liked the location of the house and that our small dog was able to join us. We found most of the tourist businesses were already closed for the season so if you are looking for activities it is too late in the year. It appeared the house was still being prepared for a short-term rental as it didn't seem quite ready (no smoke detectors, dirty bathroom, etc.). If you are planning to use all three bedrooms, note that the back bedroom has a very old hide-a-bed and no bedroom door. There is a washer and dryer which is nice to have.

I am sorry that Linda did not find the house satisfactory, although the person installing the smoke detectors along with the cable tv connection came the day first day Linda was to stay. There was an area that was behind a curtain in the bathroom that unfortuneately had been missed. The house is listed as a 2 bedroom, with the back room being an office, the couch in there is not a hideabed. Linda was reimbursed for her inconvenience. Again I am sorry, she didn't enjoy the house or the area.
