Sugar Beach Resort - Ocean View, (Off Season Special Rates)

Beach Front Sugar Beach Resort, Ground Floor, Ocean View Unit. We recently remodeled this unit and it now represents outstanding quality. Enjoy all of the amenities in a clean, well kept property. The entire complex sits ocean front, there are no roads to cross, you are less than 65 steps from the beach and never have to hassle with an elevator!

The carefully chosen furnishings and décor in this completely remodeled unit will allow you to melt into 'Maui Time'. Dine on your private lanai while watching the 'green flash' that can occur when the sun sets into the ocean. There are many green sea turtles swimming in the surf in front of Sugar Beach Resort, and magnificent humpback whales as they return each winter to enjoy their calving grounds in the Maui waters.

Enjoy walking the more than 5 Mile continuous beach every morning or evening. There are many pieces of lawn and garden furniture spread throughout the resort grounds and pool area. The grounds are very well kept and the pool is heated and kept between 80 - 85 degrees (one of the warmest on Maui). The unit is less than 65 steps to your feet in the sand on the beach, it is truly a wonderful location!!!

The Unit is very well equipped, it has all of the linens and towels that you will need. There are two cable TV's, a 37' flat wall mounted w/DVD in the bedroom and a 51' flat screen in the living room with bluray/DVD. A stereo system with CD is provided, high speed broadband internet is available in the unit as well. There is a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board as well as a washer and dryer. The kitchen is completely stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, toaster, microwave, etc. Food is available nearby at: Costco in Kahului, while Kihei offers a Safeway, Food Land, Star Market, and Farmer’s market.

We welcome you to our unit and hope you take advantage of our ground floor location, please look at all of our photos, you can clearly see what the unit looks like and the excellent view!!!

Also, if you are vacationing with another party and would like to rent another unit please ask us! We also own Penthouse 1 (listing 461914). Depending on dates and availability we may be able to arrange rental of both units!

We loved our stay at Sugar Beach Resort! We have stayed here many many times but this is by far the most comfortable condo we have stayed in. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture and chairs made for easy relaxing at the end of each busy day. Well stocked with anything you could need. Enjoyed the ground floor access as well! 5 stars!

This was in an ideal location and setup for our family. It was beyond convenient to be at the beach and also at the pool. It was easy to grab things from the condo. The beach was great. The condo was clean and very comforting. The living room was a really nice set up and comfy furniture. Well equipped kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the onsite laundry was so nice. We would happily book this unit again. The owner and the management both were helpful and responsive when lookong for local recommendations and questions.

The condo had everything that was needed for a great stay. There was beach stuff in the closest, which was great to have. The place is a little dated, but adequate. The only frustration we experienced is the condos had some construction going on during our stay which meant limited parking, loud noises and construction guys invading the private patio space in the mornings.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Maui at this property. The condo was as described and while the resort as a whole is a little dated, it was perfect for our budget trip and priced appropriately. We made use of the boogie boards, chairs, cooler ( even ice packs) and umbrellas supplied by the condo. Everyone was friendly and the grounds were beautiful and clean. We will absolutely be back to rent this place again.

Sugar Beach is an excellent resort directly on a very long beach, lots of lounge chairs, pool and hot tub. Many restaurants near by in Kihei and the central location is an ideal base for exploring Maui.

Awesome stay great location to local businesses

Brought the kids and wife to visit family and enjoy our first vacation together, this place was great. They had an amazing location with the ocean and pool literally feet away from the back porch, Dina’s sandwich shop is in the same spot which makes it great if you don’t feel like going out or cooking. Definitely coming back here again.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here! Convenient location, only 20minutes from the airport and walkable distance to the beach. Kristi was super sweet and always reachable when we needed her! Only suggestion we would make is maybe upgrading the bed, it was not the most comfortable to sleep in. Otherwise highly recommend for couples or families, great area and lots of food/beach options a quick drive away!

We really enjoyed our stay here at Sugar Beach. This condo was clean, bright, comfortable, and steps from the pool, BBQ area and the beach. Close to parking. Lanai looks out onto the manicured garden with a Koi fish pond and waterfall. Great spot for a morning coffee and to read a book. The owner was very easy to deal with, quick to respond, helpful and very accommodating. We highly recommend this unit and will definitely be booking here again! Mahalo!!
