About this property

Enjoy our Kihei Kai Nani condo and its amenities. Our first-floor, air-conditioned condo is only steps away from the famous Kamaole 2 Beach, right across the street! The washer and dryer save guests the inconvenience and expense of using the coin operated machines by the office. A strong WiFi signal serves the entire unit, and we have two flat screen TVs offering cable service in the living room and bedroom for your use, as well as a well equipped kitchen and refrigerator with ice maker.

Our Hawaiian home is located perfectly for you to enjoy the Kihei beaches and surrounding activities, so you don't have to drive if you don't want to. A full kitchen, including microwave and dishwasher, allows you to prepare meals at home. Or you can dine out at one of the many excellent restaurants that are close by -- within an easy walk from the Kihei Kai Nani driveway.

Our one-bedroom condo feels much larger than many Kihei Kai Nani units, with an outdoor living space. As you relax on the lanai on comfortable teak furniture, the front lawn stretches beyond the patio above the driveway, providing green space and outdoor living that is unusual among the complex's one-bedroom units.

PS: We provide beach chairs and an umbrella, but do not provide snorkeling gear or other beach items. Sometimes, however, people buy them and leave them behind in the condo. We are not responsible for items left behind. Use them at your own risk, or rent equipment from Snorkel Bob's down the street.

Great location

Easy walking distance to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The property manager was great to work with as we needed to extend our stay by 4 nights. We would rate this property at a 4.5. Very little hot water in the shower and since we don’t use streaming services, we had very limited access to TV programs.

Condo was well kept. It has everything we needed. Check in was easy. Great location, close to beaches. Shopping and dining were in walking distance from condo. Condo was set back from South Kihei road, so not much traffic noise, but close enough to the beach to hear the waves crashing. Pool was great.

My quiet retreat

I enjoyed having this condo during our family get-together. It gave me a quiet retreat where I had all the luxuries of home and could still walk along the adjacent beach or pick up coffee in a local store. A good location to walkable stores as well as the beach.

Finding this condo unit in the dark was not fun. The number 8 on the building is hidden behind palm branches. It is not well lit from the front. Overall we enjoyed the unit. Very nice having the washer and dryer!

We are thrilled to be able to share our comfortable one-bedroom Kihei home with guests new to the island and those returning to enjoy this amazing place again. We are long-time friends -- an internet librarian and a youth counselor -- who have known each other for years and now have been able to make our dreams of a Maui home come true. Each of us looks forward to staying in the condo with our own families and friends and hope you enjoy our Maui home as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

Our families have stayed in Kihei Kai Nani since we were small; and many of our favorite memories have taken place right here, in these fantastic gardens and on the green lawn in front of Building 8, definitely playing in the surf of Beach 3 and snorkeling at the point directly in front of Kihei Kai Nani by Kamaole 2 Beach Park.

We really like the fact that Condo 160 is at the rear of Kihei Kai Nani in Building 8, where it is quiet, and that it opens onto the green lawn. The beach is only a minute away, and we have our own place away from the bustle. The condo is clean and comfortable. It is restful and makes a wonderful, centrally located home- away-from-home for a memorable visit to the island.
