This apartment is on the 2nd floor and is part of an 8plex. Walking distance (66ft) to Old Town Plaza, where you can experience the "enchantment" of New Mexico’s restaurants, cafes, shops, art, street merchants, live music and entertainment. We are also walking distance to numerous museums including The Albuquerque Museum of Art, Explora Children's Museum, the Museum of Natural Science and History, and the Rattlesnack Museum. Nearby is theTiguex Park, the Aquarium, Botanical Gardens, Abq Zoo, Tingley Beach and the Rio Grande crafts.

Possibility for noise - apartments are part of an 8plex. Typical neighbor noise is expected as with any apartment living.

Low Flow Toilets - do not flush anything other than small amounts of toilet paper

Air conditioner - please do not run temp lower than 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The compressor can easily freeze causing damage or HOT air to blow in.

The complex is regularly treated with non-toxic pest repellent. Still, this property is located in a historic neighborhood in the desert. Bugs are a part of life here in the southwest. While we make every effort to stay on top of pest control and keep the apartments spotless for guests, we cannot completely control nature and therefore you may see the occasional bug. Please be aware of this and make sure you're ok with the possibility before booking.

Parking space is available as directed in the check-in guide. This was a wonderful stay, literally just steps from Old Town and easy access to other attractions. With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it was situated very comfortably for 2 couples traveling together. Our host was very helpful and patient with my questions as a first time user of VRBO.

Great rental in the 505!

We were visiting UNM with our daughter and this was a great place to stay. Its location in old town made it easy to explore all the shops and restaurants. The rental was in great shape and Taryn was really helpful with giving us ideas and information for our visit. Lots of little touches made this a great stay!

Old Town ABQ

What a great experience. My wife is from the area and I have spent a good amount of time in Albuquerque and we knew the area would be great. It was perfect for the kids because we could walk to so much in old town including the Explora which is always worth it. Make sure to visit the Tavern at Old Town which is right across Rio Grande.

Second time at this building. Great location across from Old Town. Easy drive to UNM. Plenty of room for the three of us. Beds are comfortable. Host does a great job with communicating before and during our stay. Will be back in October for Family weekend and football.

No frills. Simple yet functional.

We found the accommodations to be simple yet functional. Would have been good nice to have some better quality items in the home like the couch. Not cozy! The beds however were very comfortable! The location is absolutely ideal for shopping in the old town area and the convenience of walking to the local highlight restaurants around the Square also.

Horrible experience

From the onset we had great communication. Issues started once we checked in, not only was the property weird, it so old that we could literally hear every word and hear every step that the upstairs residents were making. It wa like staying the night under a bowling alley. What made it worse was that the host was unwilling to help us with a refund for the final day that we just could not stay. It was horrible experience made things worse because we were in town for a funeral. Would never want anyone to expect what we had to endure. Don’t stay here if you are expecting a quiet property. Stay here if you love hearing your neighbors fight and walk around all might and it turns you to feel like the roof is going to fall in with every step.

Wonderful!

This was a great property! Close to old town easy to get to both walking and driving. The set up was perfect, first floor, definitely recommend and will stay in this complex next time we go to Albuquerque. Dedicated parking spot, wireless door access so no keys to keep track of. My parents and nephews were staying directly above us, so the noise levels were predictable (family). Another person above may be hit or miss on sound level. We could hear them walking across the floor and when they left we could hear the door close. Overall not an issue. Earplugs were provided if needed. Water pressure was great. The ac worked well. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. Straightforward checkout process. Good Wi-Fi. Highly recommend the Railyards farmers market on Sunday. This is definitely a top place to stay. Thank you!!
