Our family of 18 stayed here. Beautiful place, not 2 miles from Hochatown. Roads getting there are a little rough, but once there it's a great getaway!
Such a beautiful place to stay! The roads to the cabin had some potholes, but thats nothing against Steel Creek North. It was exactly what we needed for our group and we enjoyed the large kitchen to cook in as well as the various hang out spots including the fishing dock, hot tub, and both porches. Deer roamed right next to the cabin each day too!
We loved our time in Broken Bow!!! This house was a perfect place for 4 families with kids ranging from 4-14! We highly recommend you will love it! Beautifully built home and comfortable stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at Steel Creek Lodge North! It was the perfect size for our group. We travel together a lot, and this was by far the best stocked kitchen we've had. If you have a larger group or want space to spread out, this is a great spot. The only complaint we'd have is unavoidable - sounds echo really loudly upstairs from downstairs, but if you have littles sleeping in one of downstairs bedrooms, it shouldn't be a huge problem.
The property is beautiful and just as described. We had a great time and had everything we needed. The property owner responded quickly to questions. Beware of the potholes in the road leading up to the property as they will cause damage to your vehicle.

-overall it was a good time. It was our first time as a big group staying in one place. There was plenty of space. Kids had the best time. [ ] No extra toilet paper- [ ] Looked like no one came to dust or check on the house before we arrived. Dusty. - [ ] No firewood when it was supposed to be provided and we let the host know and was just told they pay for it but no one ever brought any.- [ ] Used the hot tub once bc there was no cleaner for after the first use.- [ ] Seemed like every time we had a question the host would tell us to contact the management company. - [ ] Host told us check in and check out times and management company would say another time. - [ ] We were the only house with no lights by the fire pit which was disappointing since we were out there every night
This was our 2nd time to Broken Bow and the first house was disappointing but this house was just amazing! Great property and the house had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again here and the price was good as well for a house this big.
Overall the house is in good condition, but not great. We had a large group - which would be expected since it's a large house but barely had enough towels and the towels were not in each room. There were also not enough coffee cups for our group. In a house this large, we were expecting to have at least enough things for 12 adults.
Beautiful home. Very spacious and kept in great condition. There are a few things I would change/ add. We did have a huge group too. These are little things but just throwing them out there. When cooking out back it is extremely dark with no bigger lights to help cook. We had use phone lights to help us. Also had to get another propane tank to cook with. Could add some bath mats for getting out of the shower and such. One of the two couches that were used for beds upstairs was broken when we got there so we had to just put that mattress on the floor. Worked out fine and again this is a great property for large groups!
The kitchen was well equipped with everything plus, only minor thing regarding the kitchen was some of the cabinet doors hinges were loose and I was afraid of being held accountable of possible damage. I notified the host and all was well. The entire house was very nice and clean, The host was very helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns that I had.... do to the rain and cool days unfortunately we did not get the opportunity to enjoy the Hot tub. We other family members who was in other rentals, when they visited with us at this rental, they were very impressed as well. On behalf of my family and myself, we thank you for the opportunity to use your home, I would gladly recommend your house to family and friends.
We had an amazing time. There was plenty of room to interact with and sleep our family of 20 people as we celebrated Thanksgiving and our 50th wedding anniversary. Our kids chose to cook and grill, and the kitchen accommodated this. The venue’s cleanliness was excellent. Great memories.
Cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. The only issue we had; was getting the check in information and where cabin was located. Plus we didn't receive any information on what we needed to do to cabin before we left. Overall our stay was just what we needed. We would stay again.
