About this property
Big Sky Ranch w/ Yellowstone Vibes
A charming and cozy log cabin, bunk house, barn and horse stables on 7+ acres between the iconic Mission and Swan Mountain Ranges. From this stunning location take advantage of surrounding lakes, rivers and trails to hike, swim, boat, fish, pack or float. Enjoy skiing and snowshoeing during the winter. Finish your day's adventure stargazing from the front porch or relaxing near a wood burning stove. Easy access to local amenities. Excellent WiFi for those looking to work during an extended stay.
Pulling off the scenic Highway 83, a long private driveway awaits you with a sprawling 7 acre vista of the famous Holland Peak.
There is a large covered garage with utility room. A detached cozy bunkhouse with a faux fireplace heater and an antique brass full size bed, an outdoor shower and an outhouse. The barn is in pristine condition and has full access to two separate pastures.
The main house was originally built by Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame inductee Leonard Moore. It has an open floor plan with a mud/laundry room with utility sink off the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with cast iron skillets and standard cookware. (Please note there is no garbage disposal). Fully renovated kitchen!
The living room and dinning room is divided by a wood stove, creating the perfect coziness. The custom-made couch folds out into a full bed, and the living room reclining chairs are large and perfect for sinking into after a full day of adventures, with the option of watching the Smart TV.
The front porch is off the main living space and is equipped with a large smoker and rocking chairs to really take it all in. The full bathroom is clad with rustic barn wood and has two sinks and a large shower and lots of storage behind mirrors and above toilet.
The bedroom downstairs has a large walk in closet, a cozy rocking chair and a king size bed.
Under the staircase there is a fun little nook equipped with nightlights and a twin size bed for children.
Upstairs there is a large carpeted bedroom with two queen sized beds, rocking chair, couch chair and vintage dresser.
