The kitchen is equipped with cast iron skillets and standard cookware. (Please note there is no garbage disposal). Fully renovated kitchen!

The living room and dinning room is divided by a wood stove, creating the perfect coziness. The custom-made couch folds out into a full bed, and the living room reclining chairs are large and perfect for sinking into after a full day of adventures, with the option of watching the Smart TV.

The front porch is off the main living space and is equipped with a large smoker and rocking chairs to really take it all in. The full bathroom is clad with rustic barn wood and has two sinks and a large shower and lots of storage behind mirrors and above toilet.

The bedroom downstairs has a large walk in closet, a cozy rocking chair and an antique queen bed.

Under the staircase there is a fun little nook equipped with nightlights and a twin size bed for children.

Upstairs there is a large carpeted bedroom with king size bed, rocking chair, couch chair and vintage dresser.

Comfortable cabin with awesome mountain views
Almost all was wonderful but issues were keeping the heat regulated and the water pressure was very low. We turned on the space and wall heaters to warm the place up when we got there. However, there was no kindling or firestarter for the wood stove and the damper didn't seem to work so wood burned hot and quickly. The water pressure was VERY low and taking a shower was a challenge.

problems
Beautiful location The property had not been cleaned between guests. Suspicious when we arrived, but confirmed with note from housekeeper that she didn't get to clean. The bedding had not been changed. Too few clean towels. Note said we would not be charged. Amenities list hot tub. There wasn't a hot tub. Amenities list fireplace, There was a woodstove without directions, without kindling and three pieces of wood. I believe we should get more than the cleaning fee returned. The hot tub was an important amenity for a multiple day hiking trip.

Quiet & Cozy
This charming log cabin was a beautiful spot to get some rest and relaxation in. We were pleasantly surprised with all the yard games available to enjoy including two adorable mules our kids loved to pet and treat an apple or two. The cabin had all the kitchen necessities, likely one of the best stocked I’ve seen in rentals and all the things we would need to make our stay perfect! Loved our quiet stay in this little gem!

What a view!
We were in Montana for a wedding at nearby Oro Ranch. Our VRBO was right down the road, very comfortable, beautifully furnished and the view from the rocking chair porch of the snow capped mountains was to die for.
