Close to k. lake and boat launch. As peaceful as any place I've rented. Even fitted a boat and vehicle in the driveway. Jay is polite and communicates well. Great value for the area on a holiday weekend.
We enjoyed our stay at this house. It is old and funky, to be honest, and it is unlike other VRBOs we've stayed in. It was clean and neat. However, the sofa had a big tear in it (even some duct tape would;ve helped). You get the feeling/vibe that most of what's in it is from a thrift store. The owner was very helpful (we couldn't find the key box - well hidden), and he responds very quickly. The property is located within walking distance to the lake (takes abougt 10-15 min where we were walking to it). It worked for our needs.
Hedgehog Hill is a great place to relax and recharge. The house is clean and organized and best of all comes with it's very own house cat, although the cat doesn't come in the house so maybe it's a yard cat. Either way, we enjoyed our stay and Jay responded quickly to all our questions.
We rented this home as a resting place for a multi-day family reunion. This is a cool old house with some clever updates including an amazing shower. The clawfoot tub and vintage vanity are true to the home's age but fully functional for the purpose. There was plenty of room to relax in the living room on the super comfy sectional (not in the property photos), but separate bedroom space to retreat to, as well. The desk in each bedroom was a huge plus so that everyone had a place for their electronic devices. Parking was more than adequate, fitting our full size pickup and extra car, with room for more. Mornings were blissful on the front porch, watching the occasional couple stroll by on a morning walk with the community cat on my lap. The property is worth it, just to enjoy serenity of the feline guardian. The property manager was available and responsive, but happily, there were no issues.
