This charming home provides three bedrooms upstairs. The main bedroom has a quaint little reading nook, a king sized bed, large closet space and a bathroom. Bedroom #3 is our cute little National Parks room, with a queen size bed. There is a long closet in which an air mattress is available if needed. In every room you will find a fan and luggage racks provided in each closet. There are also two window a/c units in upstairs closets, if needed during summer months.

Downstairs you will find a gorgeous chandelier twinkling above the main entrance and stairway. The living room provides two comfortable couches, a lounge chair and coffee table along with a ceiling fan to help cool you off during the summer months. The living room opens up seamlessly into the formal dining room, with a table that seats 6 but additional leaves and chairs are available in the stairway closet. The bay windows adjacent to the table provide plenty of natural lighting. Next to the dining room, you will find the TV room, which contains a large flat screen TV with apps and wifi. Kalispell
The historic home is very nicely remodeled. We found the location to be excellent for all of our activities. The owners have put a lot of effort into making it a very comfortable place to stay. The home does not have central air conditioning but there is a ductless air conditioner upstairs and lots of fans. I would stay there again on our next visit to Kalispell.

Perfect place for a get-together
My siblings, from all over the country, came to visit my grandmother. It was a perfect spot for us (and just blocks from my grandmother's old house). Main Street was within walking distance and had lots of restaurant and craft brewery options. The house is BEAUTIFULLY renovated and had everything we needed for our stay. Jenny was quick with communication and attentive to whatever we needed. Will stay again when we come back.

About the host

Hi! I am Jenn! I am married to a really great guy named Josh and we have two amazing kids! As a family we LOVE to explore, travel, snowboard/ski -- Hike, Mountain Bike and camp! North Montana holds ALL of that! We love Kalispell and it's central location to everything that we enjoy in life. It has been a dream of ours for a really long time to host a VRBO of our own, and we are now doing that! We ADORE this home with all of our hearts, and we hope you see and feel the same love and charm of this historic 1901 treasure when you visit!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love at first sight. It was everything. The location of walking distance to the very inviting downtown historic main street of Kalispell. We fell in love with the Dutch colonial architecture of this 1901 home. We fell in love with the Simpson Family, Scottish immigrants that built this home, and began to imagine the stories that have lived in these walls. We love that this home is a Montana historic registered house and the plaque in the front of the house is just awesome - telling the story of the Simpson family. What a legacy of Montana history! We also love that this neighborhood is FULL of historical stories that live on today through plaques and remembrances of what was and is continuously being restored for today - for what is!

What makes this property unique

Staying in a historically registered home, is really in itself a unique opportunity. Let alone the central location of Kalispell, so close to it ALL! West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park / Whitefish ski resort and the city of Whitefish / Black Tail Ski Resort / Flathead Lake / Bigfork - such a very cool town! A must see / Hungry Horse Dam oh and so much more!
