Escape to the Island! This is our happy place. We visit every year have made a nest where we hope you will experience the slow pace of Saint Simons. The condo offers you a happy home base while you explore our beloved island.

Enjoy trolling on the pier, looking at the stars at night or checking out what is biting in the morning. Spring and summer are perfect beach seasons for GA coastal culture! Plan now for your trip to Saint Simons - reservations go quickly. Our Ocean Walk unit is very popular due to its great location (in the peaceful, slow community of Ocean Walk) and reasonable cost. Updated, lovingly maintained! This unit has been renovated and we love it well! In addition to the remodel, 2 new flat screen tvs, new carpet, new sleeper soft and a refinished balcony. Treat yourself at Ocean Walk for your getaway!
Our unit has two bedrooms, two full baths, a full kitchen and of course a washer and dryer. There is an ensuite bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom, a second full bath across from the second bedroom and a small balcony.
Ocean Walk is an immaculately kept condo community within walking distance to the Pier and Village of Saint Simons Island. SSI has a slow charm unique to the Golden Isles. The condo is tucked into a quiet corner of Ocean Walk, steps from the recently updated pool and BBQ, newly renovated playground, renovated tennis courts, duck pond, and clubhouse. Sit on the balcony and enjoy a cool drink or bike (or walk) into town for shopping, restaurants, or to watch who is catching what on the pier.

Bicycle rental is nearby, and many folks just rent bikes and use the many bike trails around the island. Ocean Walk features two pools, take your pick, or drive about a mile to the beach.

Saint Simons Island is rich in history and culture. Take a trolley tour of the island, go to an antiques fair (check dates, there are usually two or so in summer), an art show, the cinema, fish to your heart's content, walk on the beach and collect shells, it's a great place to spend the winter or summer vacation with the kids. Or write a book!

The condo itself has been refurbished, so everything is updated. We keep things up. We just added a Keurig, new patio furniture and a deck ceiling fan. (We kept our coffee maker too for those old school types.)

If you are visiting for a long period of time, weekly maid service can also be arranged for a fee.

The location is perfect!! Seriously less than 10 min from everything. The condo is safe and secure, but seriously the whole island feels that way. Our first trip to St Simon’s, and we had a great time! The AC is cold, the beds are comfy, and the place is spotless. Communication was thorough and appropriate.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The condo was comfortable, and nicely decorated. It was perfect thanks to its intimate nature, the balcony made private by the beautiful tree out front, and the quiet location of Oceans Walk. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it is an easy walk to the Pier Village. We enjoyed our quiet weekend and will certainly be back to SSI!

Great week

There was a small issue on arrival where the cleaning was delayed and we weren't able to go in for an hour or so. But this wasn't a big deal to us as we were with other family staying in a nearby unit. The property manager was apologetic and responsive and they were able to make this right though, so no issue. The rest of the week in the unit was great. Just a few feet from the pool and the pond (our kids loved the ducks roaming around), and a very quick drive to the beach locations.

Great week at Saint Simons Island!

The condo had plenty of room for my wife and I. This condo could fairly comfortably accommodate up to four people. It is in a good location which is only a short walk or bike ride to the Village Pier. We used the exercise facility a few times and one the pools a couple of times. There are no hot tubs in the complex. If you bring a couple of DVDs to watch, do not bring Blu-Ray as the DVD player is old and will not support Blu-Ray DVDs. Cooking supplies such as pots, pans, plates and bowls are very limited, but we ate out most of the time so it did not really impact us. Overall, the condo worked well for us and we really enjoyed the week there.

The check in and out process was great. The owners got us in early on the day of rental and that is much appreciated. They also attempted to fix the main tv when it went out. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the condo. The floors were older and carpet was worn. My husband and I had to deep clean edges of carpet and wash walls from splatter so my infant could walk around. Cupboards were dirty. Once my husband and I cleaned better and cleaned out the dishes in bottom cupboards we felt better. At the end of the day it was great! Would stay there again just needs to be deep cleaned.

For the past 30+ years my sister, cousins and I have been traveling around the US. My husband named us "The Hens". We truly enjoyed our stay at St. Simons Island. It was such a charming place and allowed us a home base for several trips north and south of the Island. The condo was a perfect location. It allowed plenty of room - 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. Planning on taking my husband there next time.

A comfy, attractive condo in a gorgeous spot!

We spent two blissful months in this unit. We chose a condo in Ocean Walk because we’ve stayed in this centrally located facility in the past. Amenities include convenient parking, tennis/pickle ball courts, a clubhouse with cardio workout facilities and a heated swimming pool. This condo was well equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and seating, and quality linens. We hope to return soon.

We loved the location and quick access to the restaurants and the beach.

The condominium is located close to the center of SSI and public beaches. We walked to the town every night to watch the sunset. It was only 0.6 mile away. The place was clean and well equipped with all necessary kitchen tools to prepare meals, which was very accommodating during the Covid-19 pandemic. Lastly, the beach chairs and tent were very helpful during the day when we were at the beach. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your place. We loved it.

A home away from home

First of all we must say that the condo owner Cynthia is a super host! The location is fantastic. It is very walkable and we always felt safe. The village was more than we expected and the beach was just beyond. We went to the beach almost every day during our stay. We just loved the island. We had to leave early because of the pandemic.(Covid 19) and Cynthia was more than accommodating. We definately hope to return to OCEANWALK in the future.

We loved our stay at this property! The condo was great and it is in a great location thats close to everyrhing. The only problem we had was with the communication from the property manager. She is nearly impossible to get in touch with. We had no idea how to check in or out. I finally recieved a text message that the key would be under the mat when we arrived, but it took forever to get that. When we left, i tried to reach her about what we needed to do with the key and was unable to get in touch with her so we just left it where we found it. We had a great time on our trip and the communication from the owner was great, just not the property manager. I am glad nothing happened during our stay, because we would not have been able to reach her.

Nice Little Getaway

I was there for 3 days. The location is close to most everything. Just a short drive on all back roads to get to beach access. The condo had just about everything you could need for your stay. I would stay here again for sure.

My Grandaddy started taking our family to SSI three generations ago. It's been an important part of our lives! Our family tries to connect at SSI from all corners of the world every few years. This will be a retirement haven for my parents eventually, and then for us! Even though we have seen much of the world SSI strikes the deepest emotional chord with us.

Why they chose this property

Our family has been visiting SSI for many generations. It is also close to Jekyll Island, which is a state park, and Cumberland Island, also a state park. It is just somewhere where we feel completely relaxed. Ocean Walk is an extremely well maintained community, and it is close to the village and park. It's just a great location, and if you love a good value, this is the place to be!

What makes this property unique

We like spending time as a family walking to town and getting ice cream. There are also fun things to do, like taking the kids out with Captain Billy to go fishing, or reserving a shrimp boat to go out and catch our own dinner (they make it for you). As someone who likes to exercise, it's nice to have the fitness facility if it rains outside. The pool is steps away from our condo, so that is convenient. The kids also like the duck pond and playground. We saw 63 turtles one day - and it's great fun to feed the ducks, turtles and fish at the pond.
