This large 16th-century house welcomes you to its habitable ground floor, currently being renovated. A few coats of paint are still needed, but you'll find all the comforts for a pleasant stay in the interconnected rooms, including a large kitchen and a living/dining room with a pellet stove for cosy winter evenings. The living room has a single sofa bed, in addition to a bedroom with two single beds, accommodating up to four people. The bathroom, while slightly more recent, has all the necessary amenities. This house is particularly appealing because it's surrounded by lovely, peaceful spots, such as the beautiful view from the Saint-Vorles church overlooking the old rooftops of Châtillon-sur-Seine. A short walk away, you'll find the Douix spring, my personal favourite in this town, where you can enjoy a picnic or take a stroll to reach the town centre and discover the Vix Museum. Châtillon-sur-Seine is a quiet and inspiring country town. This property offers a peaceful getaway at a very affordable price. Located 1 minute from the town centre and 3 minutes from the Douix spring and the Saint Vorles church.
