Sled down driveway! 40min to Breckenridge, on an acre,
Starlink wifi, Hot tub
Enjoy watching the snowfall from the warmth of the hot tub, sled down the drive, snowshoe, or snuggle by the pellet stove. The lodge is perched at 11,300ft and is in an area lovingly nicknamed "Valley of the Snow". The cabin offers three bedrooms, two full baths and is fully equipped with all kitchen/cooking necessities, bath linens, fresh sheets and Starlink high-speed wi-fi. One queen and the bunk room share the upstairs bath. A thermostat controlled wood pellet stove offers a real flame fireplace. Downstairs there is a queen bedroom with a floor furnace, and a full bath across the hall. For the extra kiddos, there is a double size futon just outside the room. The downstairs media area offers four recliners and a smart TV which sits on a faux fireplace that heats up for those cozy movie nights. Stream Netflix, Hulu, etc. A gas fireplace (also thermostat controlled) also keeps the downstairs extra warm. There’s also a game table with a few provided games for fun family time. There is a door to the whole downstairs suite, so you can close off the entire downstairs for a more private space. The hot tub is tucked under the deck and in winter you can guarantee that it's surrounded in snow! Watch for satellites and find the Milky Way on a clear night! There is a trailhead at the end of our street, another around the corner. The one at the end of the street opens to 360 degree views and will lead you to the top of a 13ner! (That is a local term for a mountain that's above 13,000ft). There are TONS of fishing spots nearby, and in town there is even a place to ice fish. You can rent snowshoes in town and hike around the cabin since it sits on an acre, or any of the gorgeous nearby trails. If you get hungry there are several small restaurants in town and in Alma. Or head to Breck for a full array of choices. If relaxation is your goal and you want something different, the hot springs in Mt Princeton about 45 min away is a very cool experience. It's our goal for the cabin to be a place of happy memories and we hope your stay is as warm and cozy, or cool and adventurous, as possible! Sleeps 10 in beds, but if your party is larger than 6, we may not be able to accommodate, so please inquire directly. The area is serene, and the views in the area are spectacular. Pine, aspen and spruce trees fill the acre lot, provide privacy and offer wildlife a place to wander. As the name implies, this amazing cabin is located just near where the trees stop growing, at about 11,300 feet in elevation, so AWD is required in winter so that you have enough grip to easily get up the driveway.

We stayed over Presidents Day weekend, and the Treeline Lodge exceeded expectations! Smooth communication and check in process, and well stocked with everything you need. About 40 minutes to Breck. Make a stop at Al-Mart and the saloon in Alma! Hot tub was great and the stars at 11,300 feet elevation are amazing.

My friends and I chose this house for a quiet night in a remote location and were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the house is, how quiet the neighborhood is, and how accommodating our hosts were. Thank you!

Such a cute cabin, great location, and I felt like I was home. Manager was amazing at responding and answering my questions. We would love to stay here again.
This spot was amazing - from the location, the house itself, and the property manager! The ONLY ding I can give is that the TV system was a little difficult to use, but who cares about TV in a magical spot like this!!!
The house was great, and the views were amazing. The communication throughout the stay was very smooth,100% recommended

About the host
Hosted by Stephanie Marshall
We are a family of four and love adventure. We love to ski, hike, backpack, snowshoe, soak in the hot springs, etc. We are new to the area but have explored a ton! The town is so cute and we enjoy shopping around or going to the museum. We also love to cook, play board games, search for wildlife, watch the sunrise from the den, sit by the pellet stove on a cold night, grill on the deck, and enjoy the sound of the wind through the pines. It's definitely our happy place!
Why they chose this property
So this is our family cabin and we love the place- not just the cabin, but the area as well! We also enjoy the quiet and rest, and my favorite thing is to watch the sunrise on the back deck and listen to the quiet. My hope is that you will have a very comfortable stay and that you and your group will find both adventure and quiet in this space.
What makes this property unique
This cabin is perched two miles high at the top of a mountain, about a 40min drive to Breckenridge Ski Resort. This cabin offers easy access to the 2 trailheads in the area, which feature breath-taking 360 mountain top views! Perfect for snowshoeing (and you can rent shoes in town for about 20$/day). It's quiet, wooded, and you can see the Milky Way on a clear night. Sled down the driveway on the two provided sleds, ski, rent snow mobiles, go dog sledding, soak in the hot springs, or take a dinner sleigh ride -all within a 45min drive. Wildlife abounds- we regularly find elk, moose, coyote, fox and hare prints all on our property! But it is rural and the roads are snowy and icy, so bring AWD or 4WD in the winter.
