A beautiful vacation home perfect for your upcoming adventures and escape to Blue Ridge. Filled with warmth, thoughtful amenities, and fun things to do, it's a great spot to relax.
The cabin was named Bigfoot of Blue Ridge because of the area having many Bigfoot believers. The owners thought that the Bigfoot theme would be fun for families and couples alike, and they were undoubtedly correct! Nestled in the mountains with a lovely view of Lake Blue Ridge, it's the perfect place to rest your feet after a day of exploring (or even looking for Sasquatch himself!)
This cabin is immaculate inside and out. Filled with plush amenities and warm accommodations, it's a winner! As you walk in, you'll notice the living space with beautiful cathedral ceilings and a stacked stone gas fireplace. Cozy up in front of the fireplace and rest those tired feet. Nearby, the kitchen (with its unique black stainless-steel appliances) will wow the chef of the family who can cook divine meals in this fully stocked beauty. So, pull up a seat at the dining table or the breakfast bar, and enjoy!
Are you looking for fun for the whole family? The game room has a billiards table, shuffleboard table, arcade machine, and more. Then, turn another corner, and you'll find the movie room with its immense 86” Smart TV and movie theater recliners. Pop up some popcorn in the kitchen and watch all of your favorites.
The outdoor areas are immense and inviting. You'll enjoy the screened-in porch, the gas grill ready for your fixin's, and the outdoor wood-burning fireplace and TV on the porch. The cabin also comes with an outdoor fire pit area perfect for the whole family, a lovely hot tub with seating for 7, and incredible views of the mountains, wood, lake, and beyond.
After a long day of fun in and out of the cabin, there are multiple bedrooms ready for your whole family to rest their heads - this cabin sleeps 11! The master bedroom even has its own screened-in seating area. Enjoy a glass of wine with a good book and take in the views.
One of the most wonderful things about this cabin? The close proximity to the community lake access: it is just across the driveway! If you like to kayak, paddleboard, swim or partake in other water activities, this is your spot. In addition, the Aska nature trails are close by, and the shops, sights, and sounds of downtown Blue Ridge are just 15 minutes away. What exciting places to visit during your stay!
Ready for a retreat? Bigfoot of Blue Ridge is ready for your whole family.

Such a little thing, but it was a welcoming touch having soft music playing when we arrived. The house was amazing! We especially liked hanging out in the detached porch with the fireplace. I would definitely return!

Thank you for your review of Bigfoot of Blue Ridge. We are so happy your found everything you and your guests needed to have a pleasant stay. We hope to see you again soon back in Blue Ridge.
Loved it!!! The location was ideal! Also has everything you can possibly need. FirePit was great and the movie room was a huge hit too! So much room and was able to give teens their personal space ;) Inside was impeccably clean (only got 4 stars because of outside fireplace/lanai condition - I think the last tenants were a little rough on it).
Need a car with enough power to get up driveway - but I find that with most cabins here. You willl not be disappointed if you stay here!

Thank you so much for your review! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay! We hope to host you again soon!
The house is beautiful and the setting was awesome. The amenities were great and we used them all.. fireplace, fire pit, hot tub, game room and movie room. The location was also great and close to lots of hikes, the river, and lake. The downside is the super steep drive way. Also, we lost power for more than 24 hours due to a storm and we called the property manager several times and were told that we would get a call back and never did. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and made wonderful memories.
Location great. Hot tub did not work. Water pressure was hit or miss. Sometimes water didn’t work. Plenty of fire wood. Beds were comfortable. Driveway is super steep but doable. Grill needs to be replaced. Movie theater was great. Very pet friendly. Close to nature. Deer in back yard. Nice little hike up mountain.
Clean and cozy cabin with lots for kids to do, especially the movie room. Beds were very comfortable, you will not want to get out of bed. The hot tub has a stereo to link with your phone and enjoy music while you enjoy the hot tub. The kitchen had everything appliances wise that we needed and lots of the towels and blankets. Lots of outdoor space to hangout. The only drawback is the steep driveway and cliffs. Make sure to go to the grocery store before you get to the cabin and no one delivers to the cabin.

Thank you for staying with us at Bigfoot of Blue Ridge! We are so thrilled you enjoyed your stay. We hope to host you again soon!
Property is absolutely beautiful once you get up the steep driveway. We have a F250 and our truck was spinning on the leaves trying to get to the top. We ended up borrowing a broom from the neighbor and my son swept the driveway. You need a leaf blower if it’s during the fall. The driveway is very steep and the leaves will make slide. The beds are very comfortable and the owners left us sweet treats. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and it was very relaxing sitting outside. My son loved the theater. The entire cabin is beautiful and well equipped with everything you need. We would love to stay again. We’ll bring a leaf blower with us next time.
