Cape Happy Hours is just 115 steps to 1 of the prettiest white sand beaches in the world.  You will find it well-stocked and well-maintained & ready for you & your family to enjoy a relaxing beach vacation on the Cape San Blas pristine white-sand beaches. The last of the 'old Florida' beaches. No crowds – no high rises.

It is bright & cheerful with a king bedroom & a queen bedroom & 2full baths.  It has tile on the main& carpet in both bedrooms.  Enjoy smart TVs in the living room & both bedrooms.  Full kitchen with a dining table that seats 6.  It is an end unit with a window seat for lots of extra light. 

There is a large back deck with 2 seating areas and a gas grill to cook your catch of the day.  Both bedrooms also have decks with the king bedroom deck having high boy chairs overlooking the pond & gulf views (and FABULOUS sunsets). There is also a full laundry room complete with detergent that we provide.

Outside you will find an enclosed shower and a hose for washing those sandy toes (and paws).  There is also a beach closet containing beach chairs, beach cart, buckets, shovels, a cooler, boogie board, crab net & crab bucket.  Saves a lot of room in your car (and $$).Barrier dunes, our gated community, has 2 pools (1 is beachfront & 1 heated 4 months of the year),  tennis courts, 3 fresh water fishing ponds, a new playground, & pet stations & green space throughout. Bring your dog(s)& enjoy the quiet, unspoiled, dog-friendly beaches of Gulf County. Nestled up to the state park for easy bay access, we are surrounded by water. 

It is the perfect place for nature lovers' explorations. boating, restaurants & other diversions are only minutes away, yet many of our guests never leave Barrier Dunes. Play tennis, swim in the pools, sunbathe on the beach while watching the ever-changing scenes, explore St. Joe Bay by kayak, pontoon boat or snorkel, fish, crab, stir up a card game or read till your heart's content.

You'll love the white quartz sand that doesn't burn your feet, the sand dunes that give the setting character, & the gentle gulf waves. The fishing is great, the crabbing fun & the activities abound from boating, hiking, beach bonfires, spectacular sunsets (our beaches face west), horseback riding on the beach, and tennis to impromptu socials.

We know what it is like not to have what you need when you're on vacation! We try and provide as many of these extras a possible so you are focused on your vacation, family, and fun and not on the basics! We encourage you to catch your own dinner of scallops, crabs or fish and bring along some marshmallows and enjoy s'mores around the beach bonfire or roast hotdogs for dinner!

Our goal is to make your vacation as good as it gets. To make room for the pooch in your car, we provide every basic essential we can think of (see details on site), but we don't stop there. Imagine a kitchen that is stocked with w/spices, crockpot, & crab pot.
