This listing is in an amazing location! It was a little loud sometimes, but we had two babies with us that were able to sleep easy. There were good spaces in the house, and our family was very comfortable here. Would recommend :) Only note: the stairs are steep getting to the door, so good to know. It wasn’t too bad, but definitely would have been a good heads up

The location is what is best about this property. Great place to be in the night life. The unit is dated and needs some TLC. Beds are comfortable.
We had a calm and comfortable stay in a pleasant house in downtown Milwaukee. The host was very prompt in calling us back and answering our questions, and allowed us to check in early, making our stay more comfortable.
Excellent location for bar hopping Brady St. Conveniently located to explore all of Milwaukee. We were there to visit Marquette University Law School

The listing needs to be updated to include the fact that the apartment is attached to a smoke and vape shop. Literally, the apartment is right above/behind the store. The entire space smelled like marijuana. This is not a family friendly rental. The shower is nearly unusable, because the shower is directed away from the bathtub. Even when an attempt was made to adjust the head, it was impossible to get water directed at yourself. It leaked from every connection also, just sprayed water. There are curtains in some rooms and blinds in others, not both. This made it difficult to sleep because the street lights just poured through the windows in every room. Especially the back bedroom, a light from the allies on either side, shone directly into the room, and with nothing to block it, but broken blinds, the room stayed very bright the entire night. The very active Brady St. is just steps away and due to the old windows, the noise was impossible to combat. I understand that the location is desirable, but we really assumed the walls would give some protection from the noise, but no. Just a heads up also, there is no king bed on the property, nor is it a 4 bedroom. The twin futon does not exist, it’s a couch, no pull out, not a day bed, just a couch. The rooms were clean and have charming touches. The property wasn’t right for our family, but if you are looking for a very lively, near downtown stay, this is your place. Lots to do in walking distance. Great Italian deli next door.
We had a college girlfriend getaway with 7 ladies in Milwaukee. This property is right on Brady St near any kind of food or beverage you desire which was fantastic. Host was responsive to all questions. There are steps to get in from both doors and the bathroom only has an old tub/shower which would be difficult if you have ambulation difficulties. Pay attention to the parking recommendations of host. The nighttime street noise levels wouldn't be enjoyed by anyone who goes to bed early. Recommend Thai-namite, Roman Coin, Pete's Pub and Glorioso's Italian Market on Brady St. Oktoberfest in Cathedral Square was a blast. Camp Bar in Third Ward is a must for every one of our visits. Since we are the first to review we have given private feedback to the hosts to make things even better for the next guests. We would stay here again if visiting Milwaukee.
