Clean, comfortable, manicured, well appointed, great showers and towels. This home is set up bye people in the know. Everything you could need or want is provided. Super quiet and serene.
The house is beautiful, roomy and spacious. We did find long cat hairs on every surface and the dishwasher was full of dishes that were wet. Other than that, the kitchen is laid out for ease of cooking and the island is wonderful for prepping and preparing food. The couch is cozy and perfect for lazy days and quick naps. The bedrooms are well appointed and stay cool when the door stays shut, the bulb in the master bath did blow out. I love that this home is within quick driving distance to Harris-Teeter and Waterbean Coffee shop, both of which I adore! The lawn is well maintained and the firepit is a nice way to relax, and the deck outback is a lovely retreat from the heat and an enjoyable start to the day with a cup of coffee. The kitchen is stocked with the basics for coffee and cooking. Mike Ivie made the check in process easy and is very nice to work with. He kept in contact to see if anything was needed and sent a welcome message upon arrival. The day before checking out he sent a message with instructions on what to do before checking out, overall, I'd recommend this property to anyone wanting some peace and quiet for family gatherings.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Huntersville House! Exceptionally clean, cozy decor, comfortable furniture, lots of lighting options, and a well-equipped kitchen were a few of the highlights. (It was helpful to have access to the vacuum cleaner and dust mop so that we could keep the floors maintained with our furry husky.🙂) We were in the area for the NASCAR race and to visit with family. The location is private, yet close to stores and attractions. We would happily stay there again! Thanks, Mike, for providing an awesome retreat!
Property is exactly like the photos and as described. We have zero complaints, the yard was amazing and the back deck with the overhead fan awesome in this heat. The kitchen is well appointed (both types of coffee makers-bonus!!) the neighborhood is quiet and at night you can hear nature sounds and the tin roof in the rain is relaxing.
Close proximity to grocery, Target, golf, Lake Norman and even Costco was an easy run.
Don’t even think twice before booking— just do it and you will not regret it. We will definitely book again when we’re in the area.
My husband and I went to visit our newest granddaughter and this property was about five minutes away. The home and property were very well-maintained and the inside was spacious and had everything we could have needed. Although we didn’t use it, the backyard and porch had everything necessary— an updated grill, sitting areas — just lovely. The perfect place we had been looking for!
I wish I could give Mike more than 5 stars for communication - he was very responsive without being intrusive. The house was lovely. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We didn't want to stay in Charlotte and found the location in Huntersville to be perfect. Away from the city but close enough that everything was nearby. Lots of local options for restaurants (highly recommend La Unica!) and a Publix grocery store near, as well. We really enjoyed our stay. For the mobility challenged, there are a few stairs to get into the house (but good railings to help manage the stairs) and once you're inside, everything is on a single level and a great step-in shower in the master bath. Highly recommend this place!
This house was perfect. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and the house itself is kept very clean and updated. Mike was great with communication before and during our stay. although we did not use it there is a great porch area with grill and firepit.
We loved our 30 days at the Huntersville house. It had everything we needed and Mike was quick to respond to any requests we had. Our favorite places were: The Biltmore estate,Jetton Park, Daveste Winery and Gibson Mall antiques. Maola’s and Basilico Italiano were good Italian restaurants and we liked Brickhouse tavern in Davidson. The house is on a dead end street by a farm. It was a beautiful walk with our dog every morning. The neighbors are very friendly. We would stay here again.
The house was easy to find, situated on a quiet street. The lawns were neatly maintained, the deck was beautiful and was used daily. The owner was easy to communicate with and did a wonderful job of keeping in touch should I need anything. I recommend this property to anyone wanting a little getaway.
I could not recommend this place more. It is so easy to get into the rental and use the space. I love the layout of the house and especially the back covered porch and large completely fenced in yard. Publix grocery is right down the road to get anything you need. I would stay here if I am in this area again.
This was a great property for my daughter’s wedding! It was clean and had everything we needed. It was close to the venue. Mike had excellent communication and made the check in process easy. Highly recommend this property and owner!
Needed a place to stay to attend my daughter’s graduation from UNC Charlotte. The place was as described. I would highly recommend this location for such an event.
The place was very clean and nice. I just wish the check in process had been smoother. I requested the check in info 2 days before trip and was told it would be provided to me closer to the date. It was not. After driving 10 hrs, the last part in pouring rain, we had to pull over at a rest stop so i could text Mike a request for code. Not fun.
We stayed for a month at this wonderful house , while visiting our children. The house was clean, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect- close to shopping and grocery stores.
Our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard! The house is on a dead end street, which made walking the dog very enjoyable. We hope to be able to rent this house again in the near future!
We just needed a place to sleep while visiting the in-laws for Christmas. This was the perfect place. Plenty of room for my wife and I and the kids. They had everything you needed including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the showers. Will definitely stay here again.
Our family found this home absolutely perfect! It was so spotlessly clean, perfectly updated and tastefully decorated. The bedrooms were clean and allergy free. The layout was wonderful from the bedrooms, to open concept kitchen, dining and living room. Our family enjoyed lounging on the huge sofa in the evenings and gathering around the kitchen island for breakfast. We also shared some great memories around the fire pit making s’mores and hotdogs. The owner was also very responsive to our messages and friendly. We definitely plan to return to this property in the future when in the area.
