Fantastic Christmas!

Our family had a fantastic Christmas staying here, while we went to Disneyland Paris. The house is cute and quirky, a lovely mix of traditional (with wooden beams and odd angles) with modern facilities and furniture. It is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed – and more! Our children loved the Lion King and Rapunzel themed ‘bedrooms’ and also hunting for the Disney characters hidden all over the house. The owners have obviously put a lot of care and attention to detail into the house and all the Disney décor was subtle enough to be tasteful but enough to make us feel like we were on a Disney holiday.We hadn’t expected the house to be decorated for Christmas, so this was a lovely surprise. The Christmas decorations were beautiful too, not just a (Disney-themed!) Christmas tree, but festive garlands, a table centre, stockings and gonks all over the house – finding these was another activity for the kids! The exterior and garden were also decorated with lights, another great touch. Thank you very much Sandrine & Denis for the welcome gifts and for providing us with a home from home for Christmas. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend “Refuge des Contes”.
