Located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood next to the Lake Arrowhead Country Club golf course, yet only 12 minutes to Lake Arrowhead Village where guests can enjoy shopping, dining or feeding the ducks. Only 13 minutes to Lake Gregory, where guests can enjoy the beach and waterfront activities. 15 minutes to SkyPark / Santa's Village where guests can ice skate or zip line.

LAKE ACCESS
Guests will be able to use owner's membership passes to access the beautiful lake trail around Lake Arrowhead. (Lake Arrowhead beach clubs and lakeside parks, however, are private and inaccessible to short term guests, as is true of any VRBO property.)

You can also enjoy the beauty of the lake from MacKay Park, as well as Lake Arrowhead Village, where you can ride the vintage Arrowhead Queen paddleboat, feed the ducks, or cruise around with McKenzie Water Ski School.

For guests wanting to enjoy water activities and the beach, Lake Gregory in Crestline is a lovely lake just down the road with lots of water activities, including fishing, kayaking/canoeing, boat rentals, picnic areas, as well as water slides and an inflatable waterpark!!

The home was everything as described and pictures are very accurate, even had snow toys for some sledding fun! Great views through the trees out onto a golf course, no one in front of you. Shelley did a great job with communications, very clear instructions and available if you had any questions. We look forward to our next stay!

Loved our time at the French Chateau!

We have an annual mountain trip to the mountains with a group of friends and this was the first time we tried staying up at Lake Arrowhead. We were all really pleased with this rental. It is a very cute French Chauteau and super clean. It met all the needs of our families. The design and decor were all on point and the kids loved the game room. I love the easy access to the golf course too making it easy to get out in nature. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Only thing is the fire pit was inoperable. Shelley responded immediately and troubleshooted the fire pit but still didn’t work. Otherwise no complaints, everything was perfect and we definitely would be returning customers! Thank you !

What can I say other than, the pictures, which are stunning, do not do this “French Chateaux” justice. It’s even better in person! It is great for all ages but since we were there with our teenage daughters, I was very impressed with the downstairs living area and game room, which entertained them for hours and is where they spent most of their time while we were indoors. The downstairs bathroom, which looked newly renovated was absolutely breathtaking. I felt very fancy for a reasonable price! The kitchen makes you want to cook on vacation and the porch swing was a nice place to just sit with nature and relax. Overall, I would 100% highly recommend this property. Conveniently close to drive to shops, restaurants and the village. Lovely, relaxing weekend getaway

Perfection at the lake!

I have never stayed in a cleaner rental space, hotels included. The organization of the entire cabin was perfect, even the kitchen “junk drawer” was beautifully organized. Lots of things were labeled which made navigating the home breeze. Cute little welcome package as well as sleep masks/ear plugs/water bottles next to each bed. My entire family enjoyed every minute of our stay. Everything we needed to cook was available in the kitchen. Blow dryer, first aid kit, lighter, toiletries, etc - everything we ended up needing and having forgotten at home was available! The space is stunning too! Everyone was impressed with the comfort and decor. The weather was perfect during our stay. The stove/oven can be tricky, I believe because of altitude, but that was the only “iffy” thing. If I could give ten stars, I would! Honestly, if I could model my own home after this cabin I would. Perfection!

RENT THIS HOUSE!!!

Yes, I am screaming in my title (all CAPS) for you the reader to rent this house! Look no further, rent Talin's amazing house and like me, you won't know where to start your review from! If I could give 5+ stars for everything, I would. There is not ONE thing about this property that needs improvement. It is beautiful, spacious, newly renovated and tastefully decorated, equipped with everything you will need for your short or long stay. The host's attention to detail is beyond imagination. You will even find earplugs and sleep masks by the beds in each bedroom! We have been renting properties for getaways for several years now, and Talin's house is by far the cleanest one I have stayed in, something I am very particular about. This may sound funny, but the bathrooms were so squeaky clean, I felt bad to use the glass door showers:)! The location of the house is unbeatable - you feel like you are sitting in the trees. The views from the kitchen and dining room, the bedrooms and of course the decks are nothing but gorgeous. The game room was the kids' absolute favorite, as one can imagine! They spent hours playing all sorts of different games! Our group loved every minute of our stay at Talin's beautiful chateau, and our amazing host made our stay even more enjoyable with her responsiveness and clear instructions! Thank you, Talin!

The attention to detail in this rental is impeccable. Both from a design and functionality standpoint. Everything is beautiful. And they have thought of so much to make you comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, many TVs with streaming service, fantastic game room, great pillows, sheets and towels. The view is beautiful. I was worried about staying on the golf course but it turned out to have wonderful sledding and hiking all in the "backyard." We hope it stay here again.

Everything from the booking of the property to checking out was perfect. This has been the best experience I have had with a vacation rental. The home as you can see in pictures is gorgeous but to see it in person is even better! The thing that impressed me most was how clean everything was. I mean EVERYTHING. We enjoyed Christmas Eve through Dec 30th with all of our adult kids, their partners and our infant grandson. There was plenty of space and the perfect backdrop for a family Christmas. I highly recommend this home!

We had an amazing Thanksgiving week at this gorgeous home! Our group was 4 adults and 2 kids, and there was plenty of room to gather, cook, and play. The house is beautifully renovated and extremely clean. The hosts have thought of everything you’d need to make your stay comfortable - extra pillows and towels, a fully stocked kitchen, toiletries, space to put clothes in bedrooms and hang jackets in the entryway…we truly felt like we were right at home. The views from the kitchen/dining room and both back decks, plus the master bedroom, were absolutely gorgeous. You felt like you were in the trees. Plus, it didn’t hurt that we could see the golf course - my hubby snuck down to hit a few balls and was in heaven! The game room is the BEST cabin game room I’ve ever stayed in (and we’ve been renting at least once a year for the last 15 years in either Big Bear or Arrowhead). We all loved the skee ball, ages 5 to 70! The dart board was excellent quality, there is wall-mounted giant Connect 4, plus foosball and even magnetic tic-tac-to. We spent hours down there, creating our own tournaments and lots of memories along the way. You can’t go wrong staying here - we loved it, and will definitely be back. Oh and the host, Talin, and the property manager, Shelley, were both wonderful to work with. Extremely communicative and helpful.

Our family loves to get away from the crazy life and go up to the mountains to relax, enjoy one another and make memories! With four little ones, these are the years to build tradition and take the time to cherish one another!

Why they chose this property

We immediately fell in love with the greenery surrounding the home, where countless windows showcase the tree and mountain views. You walk into a living room with cathedral ceilings, exposed beams, and large picture windows, bringing in the light and the scenery. My favorite area is the large kitchen / dining area. Again, large windows make it a bright and airy space, with plenty of room to gather in what is typically the heart of the home. The Viking oven / range is the centerpiece of the kitchen...so fun to cook while serving food fresh and hot to the folks sitting at the 4-seater island bar.
