Good potential but lacking in some key areas.

I recently booked this vacation rental through VRBO and while it was overall a decent place, there were issues. The first issue was the window covering. The pictures showed blinds on the windows however when we arrived 4 of the 5 windows were missing their blinds. I contacted the host and was informed that the previous guests damaged the blinds, new blinds had been orderd, and they were sorry for the inconvenience. This was not very helpful, because it meant there were no blinds for our stay. If the weather been cooler it may have been ok, but it was hot and sunny during our stay (34C) which made it very uncomfortable. Luckily, we found the damaged blinds and hung a few back up ourselves to have some shade from the hot sun. Next was the washing machine. At first, we couldn’t get it working but quickly realized it was not plugged in. After that, we noticed pooling inside the machine and not draining. This caused a noticeable odor around the washing machine and left our clothes not smelling very good after a wash. This property has good potential if these issues are dealt with in the future.

Summer family vacation

Had a great time at Hunters place. Nice and close to Williamson Lake and Mt. Revelstoke (the pipe coaster was a blast). The space was as advertised and very comfortable. Hunter was very responsive to any things that popped and took care of any issues quickly.

Clean and comfy

What a great rental. House was clean and looked just like photos provided. Fabulous kitchen with all amenities needed to cook. Loved the location at the end of street access to the water. Great place to watch the sunrise. Recommend this space!

Kestrel and Hunter have been living in Revelstoke together for over five years. We love getting out into the mountains on our skis, bikes, snowmobiles and our own two feet. We both work remotely and have a keen interest in helping our guests maximize their vacation in Revelstoke

We chose to purchase this house in 2021 because of its beautiful location. We significantly renovated the house in the spring/summer of 2021 and are excited to share the updated property with out guests.
