To start, thank you for booking your stay for two adults and two children with us. Unfortunately, we did cancel your reservation and also provided a FULL REFUND. When renting from us, our contract through VRBO clearly states that there are to be no large gatherings or parties held on the premises under any circumstances. By renting from us, this was fully agreed on. I am sorry that you did not understand that you were booking a house for a vacation and not as a party hall. Yes, we do have cameras. Again, as stated in our House Rules: “There are nine security cameras around the exterior of the house and one inside facing the entry door.” This is for safety and security reasons for both the renters and us as the hosts. This information is fully disclosed to renters and for good reason as proved through our business with you. Sincerely, Daniel Kruczek To Future Guests: EXPLANATION OF WHAT HAPPENED Upon arrival, our connection to the cameras was disconnected. Unknowingly to the renters, we have additional connections as back up. When we saw that our connection was disabled, we called the renters and our call was being ignored. At this time, there were people in the front of the property. After calling a few times and no one answered, I changed their code to the house. Only then did the renters call me back. When they did, I questioned them on why the router was disconnected, and they did not give a reason, but did say they were very sorry and will connect it. I decided to give them their code to allow them back in the house. Minutes later, they were seen, by using the exterior cameras, bringing in party chairs and tables. I called the renters back and asked why they were bringing in chairs and tables. The woman named Judelys said she was planning to have a party for around 20 people. I reminded her of the house rules and that they are in the contract and her response was “What am I supposed to do?” I told her she has two options: 1. Stay and not have the party or 2. She needs to vacate the premises immediately. She chose to leave with whoever else she was renting with. Additionally, after I gave them their two options, VRBO called and said that these guests called them (VRBO) to complain that there were other people living on the property and they wanted to cancel the reservation. This of course is NOT THE CASE and I have footage to prove everything.
