This home was even better in person! It was beautiful, well appointed and had several locations inside and out for visiting. The home was comfortable for our family of different ages, and we were really happy that each adult bedroom was en-suite. We also appreciated how close it is to the lake, and that the property has its own private dock and beach area. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful stay! We would definitely rebook this property!

Overall the stay was okay. We were dissapointed by the listing as it seemed to mislead the renter into believing the house was on a private beach with a private dock. They dont provide a address till days prior. So you dont know the exact location before its too late. It is not on a private beach, it is a shared community hoa beach that is about a 5 minute walk from the residence that is shared with the community. The listing also shows a pool table, when you try to play it, it is ridiculously small but yet to large for the room its is in to where the walls are in the way of the cue sticks. Pool table pockets are broken so the balls hit the floor and the table is heavily stained. The main reasons we rented it was for the pool table and the location, disappointed in both. The houses seems like it was a cheap/do it yourself flip to try and make money off of people by misleading them. The middle level shower has the hot water and cold water reversed so we believed it didnt have hot water. Cold showers. The light switches and lights in the house are confusing and alot of them dont work. You are better off trying to find the lamp to turn on. Some outlets dont work. Not the best electrical job. The middle level master shower has black mold/mildew in the tile grout. The spa cover is duct taped and gets filled with water so its impossible to uncover on your own.The house definitely needs some TLC. Not worth the listed price.

Thank you again for your feedback—we really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I’m sorry to hear that parts of your stay didn’t meet expectations. I do want to clarify that each home in the community is assigned its own private beach area, dock, and picnic table for guest use. These are exclusive to the home, though they are located a short walk (about 5 minutes) from the house rather than directly in front of it. I understand how this may not have come across clearly, and we’ll review the listing to make sure that’s better explained. We also truly appreciate you pointing out the other issues. We haven’t received this feedback before, and we’ll be looking into the pool table condition, shower temperature setup, and the electrical items you mentioned to ensure everything is functioning as it should. Thanks again for your stay and for helping us improve—we do value your input.

Large house near the lake

The house provided excellent accommodations for our family group of 10. The location near the lake was fantastic, making access easy. And the pool table was lots of fun!

Lovely Winter Getaway

We met with family after 2 years of not seeing each other, and we couldn't have picked a better location. It was close to the lake and a reasonable drive to Yosemite. The kids loved playing in the snow. The house was wonderfully set up, with so many TVs and separate spaces, everyone had a great time.

We Would Come Again in A Heartbeat!

::Keep in mind, we only live 2 hours away:: The house alone was absolutely amazing! It was beautiful, clean, all together perfect for our group. The hot tub was PERFECTION! And the games they provided were awesome! We had a few rounds of yahtzee. There are 2 sets of stairs so if you do have kiddos that love to explore you might want to bring an extra baby gate... but if not... they do have a smaller one in the house and there's enough chairs and stuff to guard things off. The private beach was just a short walk away and literally 4 minutes to Pines Village. We were so happy with our stay and plan to stay again soon! Thank You for the Memories!

Good for groups but seemed expensive for what we got

I have to leave a review because it’s important for big groups to understand things since these trips are usually thoughtfully planned out and not cheap for families to go on. Unfortunately there were a few things that didn’t work that were really frustrating. The master shower was ice cold the whole stay. I’m not sure what’s wrong with the water in the master bath but it was freezing. Then they sent a handyman but didn’t let me know he was coming so I was taking a nap in the master with my nine month old baby so he couldn’t come check out the shower. So then they said it was my fault that there was not hot water because they could duplicate the problem. And then the handyman said the propane tank was full that he did that water but all I know is that it was freezing the entire day and so my husband and I had to use the common bathroom to shower which is super inconvenient when you’re with a big group. All of the rugs, inside and outside were dirty with a bunch of dog hair and dirt all over them. My nine months old wasn’t even able to crawl around outside or inside because whenever he would hit the rugs specifically the one outside and the blue one inside his entire outfit was drenched with dirt and fur and since there’s no washer and dryer I only had certain amount of clothes for him so basically I had to hold him the whole time and he couldn’t even crawl around. Very important if you have little ones! They told me the cleaners vacuum it but they were very dirty! So I don’t know what the disconnect is there w the prop manger and the cleaners. There’s no reason that that is not more thoroughly vacuumed every time they clean the house it was disgusting. The fire pit didn’t work either which really bothered me. The adults weren’t able to sit out there by the fire like we had anticipated. When i mentioned this to them on 3rd day of our stay they didn’t respond and then after our stay said propane was empty and that we could have taken it to market to fill it. We couldn’t tell if it was full or not but we assumed it was full because they said it would be a check in. We didn’t really have time to deal with it or take it to the market but i they should b checking this stuff prior to check in. In general the place is fine for a big group but you got to check things right when you get there and contact them to fix so your stay isn’t frustrating. Good location to lake beach, hot tub was nice. Bring all stuff for lake & kids. They don’t have kid stuff.

This is more than a tad incorrect but for sake of all reading these reviews We will keep it short. We came to the property three times before, during, and after the guests stay and could not replicate the issue. We were able to access the water heater without going into the home and there were no issues. The rugs are all vacuumed each stay but the exterior rug is....exterior...by a lake....with sand...and try as we may, it will likely always be.....an exterior rug. Our cleaner did miss the propane refill, we apologized about that and offered to pay for the guests to refill it. We do realize that is a major hassle and not something we ever want our guests dealing with. Sometimes a guest and house/host is not a good fit for whatever reason. Unfortunately, this was the case with Katie.
