Cooley’s Cottage is a beautiful log home with a hot tub!

Our beautiful log home provides a romantic, quiet mountain getaway experience. A spacious first floor bedroom with queen size log bed and upstairs loft room with queen size bed provide comfortable, private sleeping arrangements for two couples, or a small family of four. A darling country kitchen provides everything you’ll need including a dishwasher. Relax by the beautiful stone fireplace in the living room or enjoy the tv in the snug while watching deer play just outside the tall windows. After a day of hiking, biking, or rafting in nearby Ohiopyle you can enjoy an evening dining on the back deck, searing some steaks on the charcoal grill (summer months), or unwinding in the hot tub if the weather permits. We also provide a washer and dryer for your laundry needs. In floor radiant heat will keep your toes warm during winter months while central air conditioning keeps the home cool and comfortable in the summer. We are located just minutes from Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Ohiopyle State Park, Nemacolin Woodlands, Lady Luck Casino, Fort Necessity, Laurel Caverns, and the Jumonville Cross. Our mobile massage therapist is available for in house massage services by pre scheduled appointment. Please inquire for details.

The cabin was impeccably clean. Thos was one of the nicest properties we have stayed at. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub after spending the day in Ohiopyle. Luann was hospitable and responsive. And the muffins were a thoughtful touch. We will definitely stay here again!

This place checked all the boxes for us. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, full kitchen, very clean. It was about 3 miles to the Ohiopyle SP Visitor Center. Access to hiking, biking and rafting are nearby as are local restaurants.

The place is immaculate and the owners were lovely. Very helpful, never intrusive. The place is near town and convenient to the trails. After a day of hiking, we relaxed in the hot tub and watched the stars. The kitchen was fully stocked making it easy to cook. Would highly recommend.

Warm and welcoming cabin! Plenty of room to spread out and relax. The hosts have put so much thought into all of the details and amenities to make you feel at home. I cannot think of a more perfect place to stay. This solid log cabin is incredible cozy, clean and comfortable. The attention to detail given to this property by the host is nothing short of amazing.In the daytime we enjoyed spening time in the catherdral-ceilinged great room, and the evening we enjoyed huddling in the small sitting room off of the well equipped kitchen.The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was a true delight. The landscaping is perfectly manicured and the setting is remarkably quiet. Imagining that this home was mine, I couldn't find a single thing that needed fixing, maintenance that wasn't done etc. If I could give it 6 stars (or 10), I would gladly do so, without reservation.We used this as our home base to visit some local attractions that were within a 30 minute drive in different directions. However, I would also recommend this for anyone looking to unwind and just get away from the ordinary hustle and bustle of the city and suburbs for a few days.

Paradise Found!

We had an amazing stay! Absolutely beautiful property, fantastic hosts, great location, comfortable, and immaculately clean. Everything was as described, easy check in and out. Peaceful and quiet. Great for couples. We came to hike the last 29 miles of the Laurel Highlands Trail that finished in Ohiopyle and chose to stay at Cooley Cottage. It was terrific, can’t say enough, would absolutely stay again.

Peaceful cottage in the country

We are two couples who stayed in Cooley’s Cottage for two nights. It was a great location for our activities: tour Frank Lloyd Wright houses and hike in Ohiopyle State Park. The cottage is located on a quiet parcel just a few miles south of Ohiopyle. It had everything we needed for cooking breakfast and dinner, and for relaxing in the outdoor and indoor spaces. We didn’t realize that there is only one shower - located in the master bathroom. But we were able to make that work without problem, especially since the other couple was my sister and her husband. We enjoyed the hot tub and the many personal touches by the owners. We recommend the cottage highly.

This is a charming cabin - beautiful, clean and comfy - near Ohiopyle State Park. It was a perfect place for my wife and me to experience the park and Frank Lloyd Wright houses nearby. Our hosts provided everything we needed in the kitchen and in the home. Highly recommended!
