The oceanfront house with the “Green Roof” is a spectacular location on the beach. You have to see it to understand. This beautiful home is a more private setting than most properties on Topsail yet is located in the middle of the island just north of Surf City where there is less congestion and traffic.

The house is actually more of a "home". The owners and their family/friends use the house extensively during the year when it is not rented. Green Roof is therefore very well maintained and cleaner then most properties, as has been attested in the many great reviews. The kitchen and house amenities are abundant, making the property your home away from home and thus, a great vacation getaway. Welcome!

It’s a spacious house with plenty of room inside and out for friends and family. The entire first level deck is completely covered providing sun shade during warm afternoons and dry protection in case of rain. The upper level is a large open sun deck which provides incredible panoramic ocean views and breezes. Witness sunrises over the ocean and sunsets on the sound from any window, the decks or the many balconies surrounding the house. Take your private steps from any deck level to a pristine beach and the clean North Carolina seas. Rinse off in any of the two outdoor hot and cold showers.

The first level in “Green Roof” has one of the two master bedrooms with a queen bed and faces the ocean. There is a second bedroom (double bed) on the same floor also with beach access as well as a third bedroom which the kids will love. That room has a bunk bed that has a twin bed on top and a double bed on the bottom.

The upper level is the family gathering area for meals, entertainment and leisure. The entire living area has Italian tiled flooring, dining and a 55" HDTV (includes premium movie channels). The stunning view of the ocean is now all glass with the additional of a full size picture window. The kitchen is newly remodeled and has all the amenities and is just off the main dining area overlooking the beach. Enjoy watching television (HBO, Netflix) or just relaxing outside on the upper deck chairs to the sound of breaking waves below. Adjacent to the living area is the second and larger master bedroom suite whose bathroom includes both a shower and Jacuzzi.

The location is about two miles from the Surf City pier where there’s great fishing, restaurants and shopping. There is even access to the Intercoastal Waterway (ICWW) nearby for all types of boating activities. Green Roof is vacation perfection whether it’s a family gathering or a private getaway. It’s the complete package.

Best of all, Topsail Island's weather and ocean temperatures remain very pleasant almost all year. The beaches remain one of the more scenic on the east coast. Enjoy!

Please note that this property only accepts a minimum rental period of 1 week during the peak Summer season and all rental schedules are from a Saturday check-in to a Saturday check-out. During off season (mid-September to mid-May), the minimum rental is reduced to three (3) days. Also, please note that we do not allow more than 2 pets!

Green Roof will be available for rental throughout 2023 and 2024.
