We've been staying up at the rainbow river with our family & friends every summer for the past 10 years. Over the years we have rented several homes always directly on the river usually middle or upper sections. In fact, we've stayed in two other homes in this same neighborhood. My husband & I were excited to find this new property available with the quaint little pond in the back. This provided extra privacy. The layout of this home was perfect having 5 adults & 5 teenagers. The upstairs and downstairs both having their own kitchens & living rooms gave everyone their own space to play games, watch tv, take naps or just relax and watch the river. We spent 6 days over the Labor Day weekend - also celebrating my 50th & sons 18th birthday. Couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. The host Rich was very communicative & easy to reach with questions. We've added this home to our top places to stay when we come back to visit the river.

Location was awesome, views from the house, patio and dock were very peaceful. The house is huge, downstairs kitchen was convenient. Paddle boarding and kayaking across the cove was fun and exciting. Upstairs kitchen needed more dishes and a pizza pan.

Excellent stay along Rainbow River

Great location, private with everything for a large family, close to amenities & activities such as kayaking on Rainbow River, a swim with manatees at Rainbow Springs or just relax with games & movies is a very comfortable home. Highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the area.

Huge house with plenty of sleeping options. Maids leave a bit to be desired. Not enough silverware or dish-ware for such a large house. People that stay a week don’t usually eat out every night so silverware dishes and pots/pans necessary. Very few. If cooking bring your own frypan. Also only 3 chairs for outdoor decks? We had 6 people. Would also have liked to see TV in bedrooms. Ground floor a/c unit very noisy, difficult to hear small TV over the a/c.

Comfortable space, perfect for Rainbow River activities. We loved the kayaks and Swampy’s restaurant riverside. We saw otters, turtles, foxes, deer, and a flock of turkeys in the backyard one day.
