Have an exciting yet relaxing time on the lake at this 2-bed, 1 and 1/2 bath vacation/cottage rental on Coldwater Lake, MI in Shawnee Shoals neighborhood. This lake house can sleep 10-14 guests. Perfect for either Summer or Winter fun! Bring your own boat and enjoy the watersports or fishing in the sun or have a blast swimming off the docks or playing in the sand. For the cold-weather enthusiasts, enjoy fantastic ice fishing or snowmobiling in the Winter.

This home comes completely equipped to accommodate all needs: air conditioning/heat, a fully equipped spacious kitchen including dishwasher and coffee pot, linens, free Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, 2 full refrigerators, spacious common areas, a large upstairs loft w/ 7 beds, plenty of parking in the driveway w/ basketball goal, waterfront deck, plenty of outdoor furniture, small private beach, fire pit, 2 private docks, paddle boat, aluminum fishing boat, several large floats, and more.

Enjoy 16 miles of connecting lakes all the way to Marble lake. Coldwater lake is known for its excellent fishing and water sports such as skiing, wake boarding, tubing, and ice fishing. It is also known for its popular sandbars throughout the chain of lakes. Within 10 minutes there are two golf courses & Pokagon State Park (which has a toboggan run in the Winter). Downtown Coldwater is just 10 minutes away for restaurants, shopping, go-cart track, grocery stores, and movie theaters.

This property was a perfect fit for our family. The firepit in the back of the house allowed us to keep a eye on the children by the beach area while grilling supper. Plenty of bedding but the downstairs does need new mattresses.

Swim, boat, relax, and make memories with your family

This was a wonderful property for our family vacation with something for everyone. The small beach and quiet swimming area provided hours of activity for the youngest ones; the pier, rowboat, and large paddleboat provided opportunities for next older; access to Coldwater Lake allowed me to pick up everyone at our pier in the pontoon boat I rented and spend the day traversing the chain of lakes, stopping for ice cream at one of the channels and watching the sun go down from the middle of the lake; and the fire pit was very relaxing in the evening. The house itself was great for our family. We had plenty of beds for our larger family. The two bedrooms were complemented by the loft area, which has a total of 7 beds divided by doors to allow four of them to have more privacy. The kitchen was roomy and well equipped, and we could eat either inside or out. The separate living room allowed for the older family members to continue talking without disturbing those who go to bed earlier. And the decor was warm, tasteful, and inviting. This property provided us abundant wonderful memories!

Overall, we had a great stay. We had a small group, but this house is well equipped for larger groups. Lots of space! The area was fantastic! We loved the water and had a great time with our jet skis and kayaks!!

Perfect Getaway on the water

My family of 8 had a wonderful week at the lake. The zero entry sandy beach was perfect for my little ones. We rented a pontoon boat and made good use of the docks provided. The loft upstairs has beds, beds, and more beds! The property is large and has a great yard. We enjoyed using the basketball hoop and making s'mores every evening.
