We are sorry this guest was disappointed, but several points in this review require clarification. The listing specifically states “Portable AC Cooler – bedroom only,” and our booking process also asks guests to review and verify the air-conditioning configuration before confirming their reservation. We do not believe that could have been presented more clearly. During the stay, the only maintenance issues reported to us were a ceiling fan and the stove. Our maintenance team responded promptly to the fan issue, adjusted the pull chain, and confirmed that it was operating properly. The stove unfortunately developed a mechanical failure that ultimately required replacement. While that was being addressed, we apologized and provided a two-burner hot plate so the family would still have a means of cooking. We have no record of any concerns being reported during the stay regarding cleanliness, showers, pillows, pests, or the overall condition of the property. Had those concerns been brought to our attention, we would have responded immediately. Likewise, had the guest indicated that the stove issue or overall accommodations were significantly affecting their stay, we would have discussed other available options, including relocation where possible. We regret that the home did not meet this guest’s expectations, but we believe prospective guests should have the benefit of the full context, including what was clearly disclosed before booking and what was actually reported to us during the stay.
