Historic Auburn has its roots in the California Goldrush. This beautiful home is located about 2 miles from Historic Auburn. It has a beautiful view of the Sacramento Valley, you will be able to see downtown Sacramento from the balcony. Auburn is full of nature hikes, rafting adventures, wine tasting, and more family fun. Don't be surprised to see a deer walk by the home while watching the sunset over the valley. This is a 5 bedroom home with scenic window views, 2 balconies, 2 kitchens.

We call our home "Sky Ranch". This unique home has has a contemporary cabin lodge feel about it. It has 2 beautiful balconies overlooking the valley with plenty of windows to let in the light. There are 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, 2 full kitchens, 2 laundry rooms, large game/TV room. You will enjoy cooking dinner in the full kitchen with the dining area with your family and visiting on the balcony in the evening. The home has all the modern features but with a quite relaxing cabin feel. Enjoying your coffee or tea on the balcony in the morning while listening to the birds. This home is ideal for families or responsible adults who know to keep the sound down after dark to respect the neighbors.

The city will not allow street parking so you must park in the driveway and no more than 3 cars will fit.

We are hosts in Sacramento and surrounding areas. We are happy to answer any questions you might have. You can message us on Vrbo before or during your stay. We are available by phone during your stay if there is an emergency. Message over the app for most things we do check it regularly through the day, every day. Please call us first, but if we do not get back to you, you can call our house cleaner Colleen. She is our backup for emergencies.

This is a beautiful neighborhood; the homes on this street are built into the side of the hill, which means you get a wonderful view of the valley without homes blocking the view.

You will need a car to get to and from Auburn
Please put trash cans out on Monday night and back in Tuesday morning. Do not put trash in the green waste bin.

The city of Auburn does not allow parking in front of any home but out own, and this includes the empty lot next door.

Beautiful Views

This house was an incredible place to land while we stayed in Auburn. The views of Folsom Lake are absolutely beautiful and the house itself is well maintained and very spacious. The owners are easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We look forward to future visits.

Amazing!

Our stay at Sky Ranch was amazing! My family of 4 came to the Sacramento area from Michigan for a quick, impromptu trip to visit with family and friends. We also asked another family to stay with us for the duration of our time at the property. There were a total of 7-8 of us each night and we were nicely spread out with room to spare! Cooking for a large crowd was a breeze as the kitchen is expansive and fully stocked. Two blenders, a slow cookers, a drip coffee maker, pots and pans, plenty of knives and cooking utensils, etc. Everything you need, they have it. And if that isn't enough for you, check the second kitchen downstairs. The location is a bit far from "in town" hot spots, but completely doable. We are very familiar with the surrounding neighborhoods and never felt it was inconvenient to drive to the places we wanted or needed to go. Distance to SMF is about a 40 minutes, but it was such an easy drive that it didn't seem that long whatsoever. The views at this home are incredible. I mean...INCREDIBLE. Do not hesitate to book with Ryker and April at Sky Ranch. We have no regrets and, given the opportunity, would stay at this property again and again.
