This property is very good for adults however it is not conducive for young children. It has a nice view of the lake. The kitchen accommodates a large group nicely. The yard of the property feels a little bit unkempt, however, you can exit the property to go down to the lake very easily. The parking availability is very minimal and the street does not allow for parking so if you have a lot of people who have cars it is problematic.

Our stay was amazing! Donna, your property contact was wonderful. Very responsive everytime I reached out with a question. The property is beautiful. The view of Folsom lake from the deck is breath taking. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need and then some. The bedrooms have plenty of linen and towels. We're already trying to determine when we'll stay again.

Our larger group fell apart so two of us decided to make it a quiet weekend for reading, goal setting, walking, etc. We loved the setup of the casa featuring fabulous bedrooms and the kitchen / great room opened to a fabulous deck where we spent most of our time watching the sun rise and sun set, drinking great wine and visiting with friends. Our goal for the weekend was successful and we would return and recommend hands down!

Fantastic Home, Beautiful Views

Very well appointed home. The Hosts were fabulous in communication and took care of all our needs. (Which were almost non-existent, as the home is very well stocked) The views of the lake are incredible, and easy access to the walking path around the lake made for great morning walks. Some previous reviews had comments on the driveway, which as long as you pay attention and back down, is really not an issue. We would definitely book this property again.

Multi-generational Family Holiday

Beautiful, well stocked home with an excellent layout for our multi-generational family with 3 bedrooms on the upper level and a single bedroom on the lower. Two of the bedrooms shared a Jack and Jill bath which was great for us and our small kids. The fifth bedroom is a convertible office. There is an attached apartment. We heard the guests there moving around after our house was in bed, which was fine but detracted from the totality of the stay. The driveway is incredibly steep and parking a challenge. Even so, we would certainly stay again were we to gather in the area for another family vacation.

Awesome views and nice amenities

We had our whole family gather and stay here for a family wedding nearby and the accommodations were a great fit for the 10 of us (plus an infant). The tranquil lake views were wonderful and the grandkids loved playing in the sand at the lake. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. The driveway is tricky to navigate but we got that down as well. Donna was super nice, responsive and helpful, and we would love to come back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay. The house has all of the amenities necessary for a great visit. The views are magnificent and access to the trails is good. The inside of this house is well kept and clean, beds are good and baths are new looking. To be honest, the driveway is difficult for most drivers but I managed to back down without help by the end of our stay. Outside there is a bit of deferred maintenance and the beautiful oak trees that provide amazing shade are a bit dirty as debris falls on the deck. In summary we had a very nice visit.

Great Holiday Family Retreat

We had the best time at Casa D’Amore with our extended family and friends (14 in all ages ranging 18-73) celebrating Thanksgiving. The house was in excellent shape and had all of the amenities we needed. The college kids were thrilled to have the sleeping mats in the Rec room and a break from school. The setting and location was perfect as we could walk outside around the lake as well as other hiking areas and were close to friends who live in the area along with shopping, activities and restaurants. Donna was great to work with and we would totally stay there again. Perfect place to enjoy with family and framily!

We had a great time in this well designed, artistic and well equipped retreat home with a commanding view of Folsom Lake. In spite of the low lake level, the view is superb and the trees give just the right amount of shade to the deck.

Best Mornings you’ll ever experience

We we thrilled with the view and access to the lake. We would start the morning with the sunrise and walk on the path to the calm lake. House is perfectly located for convenience and access to shopping/food but feels like you’re away from it all. Loved this stay and strongly recommend it.

Great property for a lakeside beach vacation!

We stayed at this property with a few friends and kids. The house is well setup to accommodate a sizable group. The amenities are great, including a large kitchen, excellent grill, and patio area. The location is conveniently right on the shore of the lake with a nice swimmable beach and shore area.

My sisters family and my family had a great time at the casa ! So Many great things to do. We hiked, kayaked, rented a pontoon boat for the day, played on the beach right in front of the house. All 8 of us cooked together in the huge kitchen. Hard to say what was our favorite ... maybe adult beverages on the deck after a day of play.
