The EdelWeissAlpinLodge is a newly built holiday apartment in the heart of Matreis, the pleasant mountain resort in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park in East Tyrol, Austria. It is located in the immediate vicinity of Rauterplatz, the lively center of the town with cafes and restaurants, as well as shops for everyday needs. The lodge is part of a group of chalet-style residential buildings known as AlpinLodges Matrei. Particularly noteworthy is the swimming pool, which is available to all residents of the residential complex free of charge in summer. It is located right next to the EdelWeiss AlpinLodge.
The AlpinLodge was built in a high quality construction and has an approximately 126 m² living area with eight beds. The lodge extends over two levels on the 1st and 2nd Upper floor of the building. On the lower level is the large, 2-storey living / dining area with an open, carefully equipped kitchen, satellite TV with DVD and a large terrace (with storage room), from which you have a fantastic view of Matreier's local mountain, the Zunig , enjoy. There are also three bedrooms with double beds, one of them with an en-suite bathroom and a separate large bathroom (walk in shower, toilet, vanity).
On the upper level, which is accessed via a gallery with a view of the living-dining area, there is a separate suite with a spacious sleeping area with a double bed, a corner sofa with a sofa bed and TV, and a panoramic window with a view of the Tauern. The suite also has an en-suite bathroom (walk in shower, vanity, toilet) and its own dressing room with fitted wardrobes and a safe.
Two cars can be parked comfortably in the underground car park, from here you have direct access to the open stairwell of the unit.
The residential complex has a central ski and bike room. In winter, ski boot heaters are available for all skiers.
