We had a wonderful time at your beautiful lake house, the house was very clean and very nice inside. The house was very well stocked from kitchen to bathrooms. We sat on the front porch and looked out over the water,,then we would go to back porch and sit and look at the tall pine trees and the trails going up the hills. Just a wonderful place to relax. Kristi, the owner is an excellent host.

I really wanted to love the property based on others’ experiences. The property is very secluded which is mentioned but we were not comfortable when the owners came during our stay to install cameras and work half way during our trip without notice or contacting us first. I am still not sure why every window in the cabin was left to see in. I didn’t really feel comfortable staying there and wouldn’t stay again.

I’m sorry you weren’t comfortable. My husband works on stuff when he is able when he’s not working his full time job. He installed a video doorbell to help when people have trouble. It’s never been a problem before but I’ll be sure to contact guests in the future. The windows all have blinds except the kitchen window above the sink. I don’t leave anything intentionally open to watch people and you are always able to close the blinds. These are all outdoor cameras used for security. I don’t use cameras to spy on people and they are always off when guests are staying.

This property is located on family land that has been ours for generations before the lake was even formed. Being on the lake is my favorite place to be.
