Super clean Waterfront home with private boat launch and fishing pier on site.

Negreet Retreat is a water front home located in a quiet calm cove excellent for fishing. A super short boat ride gets you to the main lake of Toledo Bend and a 5 minute boat ride to Cypress Bend resort. This new, clean and cozy lake house has its own private concrete boat launch, fishing pier and floating dock. 2 single person Kayaks are included for you use during your stay. The boat house has one powered boat slip ( sometimes 2!) for your use along with a fish cleaning station with water and electricity. Excellent views from the large patio with comfy furniture. Enjoy any type of water sports or just relax by the fire pit! Excellent retreat for relaxing and watching birds of all sorts. We have added a whole home generator so no worries there. We have No outrageous cleaning expectations! We just ask that you take trash to the road in a bag, we even provide the bags 😊.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Please take bagged trash to the trash can at the road. It all must be bagged. Trashbags provided under sink or in pantry.
Just leave your bed unmade and put all used towels near washer.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please be courteous of the neighbors and turn music off at 10 PM.
Pets must be on a leash if outside and kept out off furniture.
All trash must be bagged and taken to the trash can or there will be a $100 charge added.

The property is absolutely gorgeous! The house was so comfortable and the owners have really thought of everything. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. I loved the welcome basket as well as the stocked medicine cabinet.

This getaway was perfect in every aspect. The place had everything we need. We were able to relax and have entertainment without leaving the house. My husband bought his boat. The kids and myself used the kayaks on the property and the outside patio created an environment that left us NOT wanting to leave! We will absolutely be back!

Best place on Toledo Bend!!!

This was our 2nd stay and as usual, we had an amazing time! Best place to stay on Toledo Bend! Beautiful view, Boat house with automatic lift, private launch on property, fish cleaning station, and large covered patio with BBQ pit and gas fire pit. The hosts, Valerie and Tim, are wonderful!

Best Spot on the Lake

This is our fourth time staying at this property. Tim and Valerie provide an excellent home to relax and enjoy time on the lake with family. The fishing is always spot on and the house has always been clean and comfortable.

Perfect home on the water!

This place is perfect and very peaceful! It is a beautiful home with an amazing view! It has everything you need for a trip to the lake! The kids enjoyed swimming off the floating dock onto our water pad, fishing in the kayaks and off the dock. We were able to bring our little pet rabbit with us. Tim and Valerie were awesome host! We will definitely be back!

Great Place.

Perfect size for 3-4 adults and a few kids. Everything works perfectly and as advertised. Literally the only negative we found, and it was a stretch, is a gravel road to property, and it’s in good shape. We’ll be staying again for sure.

Fishermans Paradise!

What an amazing place right on the shores of Toledo Bend. As an angler that spends a lot of time traveling to fish all across the country, I can tell you it is one of the nicest places i've ever stayed. Plus it has its own boat ramp in the back yard!

Great weekend getaway

This property is nicer than advertised. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. The custom woodwork is just incredible! We only used the master bedroom, but the bed and pillows are awesome. The only tiny criticism that we had is that the hot water does not get very hot. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Peice of heaven

This place was more than amazing, pictures trust me do no justice you have to see it for yourself to understand how wonderful it is. We give this place a 5 star, its very clean, and the look inside and out is so unique, and you are not left wanting for nothing they provide everything. They even leave you a gift bag with a variety of snacks. I go on and on about this place. Thank you for allowing us to stay you were not a disappointment!!!!

Love this place!

We had a great time and caught a lot of fish - we left some notes in the guest book of where we caught fish. It smelled so good when we first walked in. Everything was very clean and looks like it is very new. Looks like it could be in a magazine. The beds were very comfortable. We mainly booked this place because of the pier and boat house. It did not disappoint. We caught fish during the day from the boat and at night on the boat dock. We brought a green fishing light which attracted a lot of bait fish at night. We tried a minnow trap but no luck. It is very convenient location to bait and grocery stores. We found Toledo Tackle to be higher for their shiners and a lot of them died within a few hours. We took the 15 minute ride to the Keith's tackle on the TX side, the shiners were cheaper and lived for days. If you are coming from Louisiana there is a Walmart in Many if you want to stop for any groceries or items you forgot.

This is our third time to stay in this home. The host and hostess are amazing. Very accommodating. The place is always clean wonderful and inviting. Every time we go. The patio is awesome the pier and dock the fishing the views are amazing. We truly love this place. We have booked our 2026 date in May already and working on our October date.

Such a beautiful place with a beautiful view. It was exactly what we needed for a perfect getaway. Boat launch was usable even with the water being very low and it was very nice having a boat lift to use in the event of windy weather. We definitely recommend this place!

This place was amazing. It was very clean. They even thought about ants in the yard and it was great for my grandson to walk around. The view was spectacular. Having your own boat launch was also a plus I would definitely recommend this and we will be back.

We loved everything about this place! We spent most of our time swimming off the floating dock and fishing off the pier. The only thing con is that there is no ice maker outside as described. We would love to come stay again!

Great getaway with amazing lake access
