Amazing family/wedding vacation
This beautiful home was very spacious..plenty of rooms for our family of couples and children. Kitchen was perfect for meal prep for everyone. Very comfy beautiful bedrooms..4 bathrooms worked out perfectly. The beautiful wrap around deck and front porch was amazing for just relaxing.. swinging on the front porch or having dinners on the back deck. There was sooo much room on the grassy lawn for the kids to run and play. The horses were such an awesome bonus...And we got to hear the church bells toll one evening. Our daughter got married at The white Silo farm and winery just a mile away while we were there. We absolutely loved this home and property .. we will definitely be making this another vacation spot.

Great Area, Mediocre House
There are a lot of things to like about this property: the view, the serenity of the surroundings, and access to Lake Candlewood. Here are some of the shortcomings: 1. While the kitchen is well stocked, the age and condition of the appliances and cookware was a major drawback for us. Most of the burner knobs were illegible, and we found that the range itself was slow and inefficient. Although we had access to plenty of cookware, most of the pans were warped and did not sit flat on the electric burners. We also found the sink to be too small for preparation, and the low water pressure from the faucet made cleaning painfully slow. 2. We had problems with ants in the kitchen. We learned to wipe down the adjacent countertops and sweep the floors frequently. The worst incident was when we found ants coming through the lining of the refrigerator in the second kitchen. Outside, we had problems with wasps, ticks, and mice in the garage. We were told to use Raid to control the ants. 3. During one arctic snap, the outdoor temperature did not rise above 5 F, and we were unable to keep the house temperature above 60 F. We had to turn on the oven and open the oven door to heat the kitchen area to 67 F. Also, do NOT turn on the fireplace unless the owner has retrofitted it with a vent. The upstairs smelled of burnt gas. 4. Take detailed photos of all imperfections. We missed detailing scratches on the floors and were charged.

Spacious stay in a beautiful home.
We are enjoying our stay at your property. I’ve told others about it and they were wishing they had seen it sooner. I’d recommend this to anyone coming out this way. Your home is beautiful, thank you for renting it out on vrbo.
