Chimney Lake

Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!'

You'll have a spacious front yard and a large back deck overlooking the Wallowa River at Chimney Lake, a three-bedroom home where you can let the kids run and watch the water roll by on lazy evenings.

Inside the home are two bedrooms - one with a queen and one with a king. The third bedroom has an outside entrance down one flight of stairs - a perfect space for a small family or the early birds of the group. They'll get to enjoy their own coffee bar and outdoor seating as the rest of the group wakes up.

The large, open floor plan between the kitchen and the dining room keeps everyone together for game nights, meal prep, and movie-watching on the flatscreen TV mounted above the fireplace. The entry porch is where you'll probably find the kids, as the game table is located in this attached 'sleeping porch' that opens onto the wrap-around deck.

There are three bathrooms in Chimney Lake - the first has a tiled shower/tub combination and the other has a shower stall, the washer/dryer, and the third is a half-bath in the lower king bedroom.

Things to Know
Seasonal bbqs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane and tanks are provided. We strongly encourage you to review your tank level in the morning and if a replacement is needed please reach out to your local contact for a tank replacement.
No cable service, but there is a smart TV.
The third bedroom has an outside entrance down one flight of stairs. The downstairs bedroom does not have a bathroom. Guests will need to go outside and up the stairs to access one of the bathrooms.
No fires or firepits are ever allowed due to the heavy timbered area and county restrictions.
Do not exceed the occupancy or parking limits at any time.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Overall wonderful stay
My family enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was quiet and comfortable…had most of the amenities needed. Unfortunately the wifi didn’t work and I was unable to complete work duties resulting in a loss of pay for the day. My teenage girls were also not thrilled to be completely disconnected from friends. We were unable to make or receive calls except for when we went to town. The only other thing I would mention is that one of the rooms is completely disconnected from the rest of the house and you have to take stairs on the outside to gain access to the room. A little inconvenient but we made it work. The creek was beautiful and we were greeted by a herd of deer’s upon arrival.

Spring break
We stayed for a weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. It snowed, which made everything even more beautiful! Our teens loved having their own rooms and foozeball table. Everything was very clean and directions were well explained. The local deer were very friendly and curious, and made watching them out favorite part of the visit. Highly recommended!
