Wallowa River Lodge
Our goal was to get away and get unplugged, this cabin checked all the boxes. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The high ceiling with large wood beams, impressive woodwork and trophies helped set the mood of a cozy cabin in the woods. The sound of the river in front of the cabin was soothing. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances (crockpot, baking pans, electric frying pan, multiple coffee pots & more), basic pantry essentials (coffee, spices, foil, plastic wrap…) Kitchen cons: limited individual serving bowls. We couldn’t get one of the ovens to work but it is equipped with two. We were there in the off season so not much was open. The cabin does not have a main TV but was supplied with several games and puzzles for all ages that we enjoyed playing. We had fun getting reacquainted with the record player. Everyone slept soundly and comfortably. Bree the contact person answered our questions in a timely manner.

Gorgeous house, filthy house, terrible management!
We just arrived at Gail’s Lodge at 6 pm, and the house had NOT BEEN CLEANED. The beds were unmade and slept in, the trash cans all full, filthy bathrooms dirty dishes in the sink. The fridge was full of old food and there were dirty towels on the bathroom floors. The house was supposed to be ready at 4 pm. We tried to contact someone at Vacasa by phone but were put on hold for over an HOUR. Needless to say, we were not happy. We ended up cleaning the property ourselves,

Great get-away!
Great spot within the Wallowa lake area. While a short walk to the activities at the lake, the cabin is a peaceful place as it sits along a flowing creek.

Amazing escape
A lovely home in a picturesque and beautiful location. Extremely clean and a well equipped kitchen. The deck was fantastic, with the Wallowa river in the back yard. We loved the continuous river sounds. Quiet location. We were able to walk to the tram, trailhead, and GO-carts (!!) from this location! The beach is only a short drive… a wonderful stay. Thanks!
