Spacious house for 20+ people in nature

In the heart of Limousin, in a very quiet and green setting with a view, ideal for walks and relaxation, the place called "Les Gannes" is a former farm on a 2.5-hectare property. The spacious house (over 500m2) has three living rooms, two adjoining living areas, two bathrooms, and nine bedrooms, accommodating a total of 20 guests. Perfect for large groups, small events, as well as for more intimate weekends! The accommodation sleeps up to 20 guests across 9 bedrooms: There are 8 queen-size beds (160x200 cm), 1 double bed (140x200 cm), and 2 single beds (80x200 cm), plus several extra single mattresses (80x200 cm). All beds will be made up for your arrival. Kitchen towels are provided. The “household linen” option gives you access to bath towels. The house consists of two adjoining parts: the original farmer’s house with 5 bedrooms, and a converted former barn with 4 bedrooms. Together, they offer 2 bathrooms, a laundry room with a washing machine, 2 fully equipped kitchens, 3 living rooms, and 2 connecting dining rooms with everything you need for large group meals. Extras include a juicer (on request), two raclette machines, a crepe maker (on request), and two bread machines. In the living room, you’ll find books (comics, magazines, novels…), children’s books and games, board games, puzzles, and arts & crafts supplies. High-speed fiber internet is available free of charge. To enjoy the outdoors, there’s a large table for group meals, a gazebo, a barbecue, lawn games (Mölkky, pétanque, etc.), deckchairs, a sunbed, and a firepit (on request) to brighten up your evenings! To respect the neighborhood, we ask that music and noise be kept indoors after 10:30 PM. Upon request, we can also arrange babysitting services with local young women from the village. The house is located in a peaceful rural setting, just 5 minutes from local shops (butcher, bakery, general store), 15 minutes from full-service supermarkets, and 10 minutes from a quality catering service. In 15 minutes, you can explore the historic town of Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat, swim in natural spots like Lake Vassivière, or visit the Reynou wildlife park. In 25 minutes, you’ll be in the heart of Limoges and its stunning train station — considered the most beautiful in France! And for true nature lovers, the Millevaches plateau is just 30 minutes away, where you’re more likely to meet cows than people. I am delighted to welcome you!
