Our home in Texas embraces the warm weather, humidity, and abundant woodlands, seamlessly blending into the natural landscape. It is a haven for various species of wildlife, including foxes, deer, coyotes, armadillos, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, ducks, woodpeckers, Cardinals, Blue Jays, and more!
Additionally, our surroundings teem with smaller critters like lizards, frogs, honeybees, and other insects. It's important to note that encounters with Mother Nature's creatures are part of the experience, and therefore, we do not provide refunds for such encounters. As a playful nod to Texas, it's often said that the flying cockroach is the state bird. We invite you to revel in the natural beauty that surrounds us.

House Rules
Guests will be required to read and honor the House Rules and rental agreement.

Parties/Gatherings
No gatherings or parties are permitted. Only booked guests may be on-site at the property at any time unless arrangements have been discussed and approved, and additional fees paid in advance.

Security Deposit
A $250 security deposit is required for each booking, as stated under the House Rules. This is separate from the booking payment. Booking this property implies your agreement to pay the deposit and honor the House Rules. No deposit means no entry.

Pet Policy
We welcome well-behaved pets and charge a small additional fee of $25 per pet, per night, to cover cleaning costs. Strictly no pets allowed on any of the beds or couches.

Additional Amenities
A crib is available upon request. We currently have 14 listings and two cribs, so please let us know in advance if you need one and we will ensure a crib is made available for your arrival.

If you need additional bedding such as extra pillows, air mattresses, or electric (heated) blankets, please feel free to make a request. A walker is also available upon request.

Perfect Thanksgiving!

This was the perfect place to stay for Thanksgiving! So clean and the hosts was very welcoming and ensuring everything was good for stay. Bed in main bedroom was super comfortable and every room was set up prefectly and spacey. Location was very convenient to shopping needs and most off all, I was able to host Thanksgiving dinner and my family loved the place also. Definitely will stay again on my next home visit from North Carolina. Thanks Landon&Zoey

Rude home owner

The hot water would not work and the home owner did not refund me due to complaining to much about my stay “trying to not commit to a stay “ he pretty much said I broke the water heater and the internet didn’t work the whole stay and he said I lied and it worked . I wanted to leave early and he wouldn’t refund me . So I just left and he keep my money for my last two days .

They requested to check in two hours early at 2pm, which I agreed to without charge(when it is already subject to a fee). Shortly after they checked in they said that the wifi wasn't working. They reported it on March 4th at 6:36pm. I immediately contacted our ISP, Frontier, and had the problem fixed in less than an hour at 7:28pm. Then, they literally wanted to cancel because there was no curtain over the small kitchen window. First of all, we have had many guests stay there and not one of them ever asked us to cover the kitchen window. Still, my dad went over there and put a covering over the window to satisfy them. So, now that they couldn't complain about the window not being covered, the water heater mysteriously stops working. Even though it worked fine for every previous guest and my cleaning lady checked on it prior to their arrival. They reported the water heater not getting hot, March 5th at 8:44pm. My dad went over there the next day at about 10:30am. He reset the electric water heater, however, it will probably take about an hour to an hour and twenty minutes to heat up. My dad asked them to let us know if that fixed it, they have not reached out to us. We try our very best to accommodate the guests as much as possible but when the guests are playing games and trying to do whatever they can, including sabotaging the house to get out of the rental, we cannot help them. Our listing's policy is strict, and she signed a rental agreement that states: "No refunds or rebates will be offered for Guest's inability to arrive on scheduled date or who depart early for any reason." We have had to deal with their constant calling, complaining and game playing.
