We really enjoyed the condo and proximity to not only the beach but proximity to everything else on the island. Beautiful room with a patio that goes directly to the path to the rock beach.
A nice location right on the water. Easy drive to Parksville and Nanaimo. We walked around the property every day. Didn't use the pool or hot tub, but they looked clean and families were enjoying them.

Thank you for leaving your unit very clean, we would love to have you
Pacific Shores is a beautiful property and an amazing location but it cannot be seen from inside this studio property.
which can be disappointing for a first timer, I know the area well and always enjoy my return visits.as was the case this iipast week.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities, communication
There were pipes banging all night, and I reached out to the host, he said there was nothing he could do. It was a terrible sleep. The bed was also not comfortable. It just felt old. The pool smelled so strongly of pee. It was shocking how strong it was.
Go to nanoose hut do not stay here. Lovely area. We love it here, but regret our choice to stay at Pacific Shores. It used to be a really nice place to stay when I was a child, but the upkeep has really slipped and it’s not what it used to be.
Excellent location. Close to everything. Has plenty of amenities available. Room was very clean. If you're planning to do any cooking/ prep in the unit, the utensils are limited. Perhaps consider adding a couple plates and a decent knife to cut veggies/ cheese etc. The bathroom sink is not really conducive to washing dishes, but it is what it is. Host communication was great and responded promptly to all my inquiries. Would recommend and would stay again.

Coffee maker was shot. John was fairly uncommunicative until I was already checked in. Knowing that the front door was almost up against a 30ft retaining wall would also have been beneficial. The map also mislabeled where the suite is actually located until after it had been paid for.
I tried for 48 hours to get check in and stay information from the owner. At 4:00 pm on the check in day he replied to my text messages with the code to access the property. In his defense he said he was on holiday in India. He wasn’t sure which of his units we were staying in. I suggest you confirm in advance, as our unit was hotel style with a queen bed and fold out couch side by side without a kitchen. The unit itself is nice and the location is beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and staff on site were friendly. Rusted Rake brewpub nearby is really cool place to eat and have a beer.
Everything was as described. We enjoyed the property and all the amenities. Communication was prompt prior to and during our stay. This is one of the best locations in all of the Parksville areas.
This location was fantastic. The property had the pool and hot tub amenities. Nice walking trails following the water. Place was comfortable, cozy and clean. We would definitely return here when we come back next time.
Loved the grounds the view. The place was clean n cute. Recommend for a couple get away. Owners were reachable everytime i emailed. TV didn't work and they refunded us some money for the inconvenience. Definitely would return.
Fairly clean. Could use a little more thorough dusting. Bed was like a rock. Patio could of used a sweep.
Also info on cactus address and how to enter the room would of been nice a little earlier. Just so the drive up would be stress free.
Otherwise everything was good.
