We loved the location and hot tub! We also used the fire pit a couple of times. The most used areas of the cabin were clean, such as the sinks, refrigerator, toilet, and shower. There were cobwebs, dust, and hair in corners and on window sills and in pull-out couch so could us a deep clean. Our family had a relaxing time and enjoyed our stay! Staff was very responsive when we messaged.

Great little private creek side cabin! Easy check in and check out. Loved the beautiful trees, hot tub and the covered back porch! Train was a fun surprise. Very relaxing stay and planning to return.
The location and setting of the cabin were fantastic. We enjoyed the creek, fire pit, and gas grill. The cabin does need some maintenance and updating inside and outside.

This is our second stay and it just gets better every time. It is always so welcoming and clean. It has a little bit of everything and is in a perfect location no matter what you want to do.

Hi Ashley, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We look forward to hosting you in the future!
The cabin was clean with a beautiful location on the creek. Wished the bushes around the house would have been trimmed a bit in order to see the view of the creek through the windows. Tall shrubbery made the porches feel dreary. Lot is pretty secluded which was nice. Extra toiletries, towels and adult utensils would improve the stay. Overall our visit was pleasant. Thank you kindly for opening up your home to us.

Hi Frances, thanks for sharing and thanks for the feedback.
Overall the property was nice, a little outdated. Such as the coffee pot did not shut off automatically so we had to remember to shut it off. Walking into the cabin, it was extremely humid. However, we did find a dehumidifier in the dining room, where I emptied the water bin and it did it's job at getting the humidity out. They back porch and the fire pit near the rumbling creek was delightful.

Hi Kara, thanks for your feedback. I will be sure to share with our staff. My apologies for any inconvenience.
We had a fantastic stay at Creekside Hideaway. The cabin was comfortable and the creek and hot tub were amazing. The location was fantastic for GSMNP, Nantahala National Forest, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Tubing down Deep Creek (we brought our own tubes), the road to nowhere, Lake Fontana, Newfound Gap Road and Clingmans Dome. We can’t wait to return and do some white water rafting!

Thank you Tara - So glad you enjoyed the cabin and our area amenities. Please come back and stay with us again!
We enjoyed our stay, never left the cabin. Loved the creek and fire pit. A few things we did notice that would really improve the stay was the bed is hard as a rock, It’s been mentioned in comments previously. Only one couch to sit on and it is very worn out. Shower head needs replaced, it shoots out way to hard and all over the place. **Hot tub deck is sitting on the retaining wall and the wall is rotting and moving causing the deck and hot tub to do the same. It leans a good bit already, you can see with the water line in hot tub it isn’t level and it will fall if not repaired. Very dangerous.** We still loved it all but it needs some TLC

Hi Nicole, thank you for the feedback and I will share with our staff.
Lovely cabin on the river. Great Smokey Mountain Railroad runs by it twice a day. Only train on the tracks. Minutes from Bryson City and 17 min to Harrah's Cherokee.

Thank you Samuel - So glad you enjoyed your stay and the location of the cabin. Please come back and visit again!
This place is just so perfect and peaceful. It is exactly what we were looking for in a cabin. Tucked enough in the woods that it was private but close enough to town for us to go have dinner and hang out. We love to fish and be on the water and this was the best of both worlds. This place is amazing! Hopefully my husband and I will have an exact place like this of our own soon.

Ashely - Sounds like you made some great mountain memories. We would love for you to come back and stay with us again!
Everything was amazing until it turned dark outside. There has to be a huge hornet nest right off the back porch. As soon as it got dark the hornets were all over the back porch and house on the back side. That’s where you want to be after dark with the hot tub and fire pit, grill, and creek back there, but we couldn’t enjoy it for the hornets covering the back. We went to the front porch to get away from them and no seating on front. I’m highly allergic to stings so very scary. Everything else was wonderful!

Overall a good, clean cabin and good stay. Not a lot of frills, but about what you would expect to good for the price as the location on the creek and hot tub were lovely.. Conveniently located to Bryson City, GSMNP, Cherokee and the Nantahala Outdoor Center. The cabin was clean and had the basics of pots n pans, dishes, glassware and salt n pepper. The back deck overlooking the creek with 2 rocking chairs, a grill and clean hot tub were wonderful. The great smoky railroad goes by a couple times a day right behind the cabin and we enjoyed seeing it. There is flat yard space to walk your dog if needed. This cabin is set up for 2 people (2 seater sofa, 2 rocking chairs on porch, full size bed in bedroom). I would recommend bringing a mattress topper if like me, you don’t enjoy a hard yet bouncy bed. It was not comfortable IMO. There is no Wi-Fi at the cabin so no Netflix or anything, only basic direct tv (full of infomercials mainly) so maybe bring dvds (if you still own any) to go with the DVD player as there aren’t any there. We like watching movies after a long day hiking and doing and wish we would have brought some. The property manager communicated well with clear information and check in was easy. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again (if the bed was changed).

This charming property had a perfect location -along a tranquil creek with a hot tub as an added bonus. A short drive to Bryson City, a picture perfect Americana town and of course the special treat of watching the GSMR train pass by. Thanks for giving a traveling couple and their fur baby a
perfect vacation home.
