Hi, I'm Sheila and in the photo are my twins. My husband isn't one for pictures so I'll have to sneak one in as soon as possible. We've lived in Florahome since 1996 and recently acquired a piece of beautiful land next to ours with a pond. This pond has been fully stocked with bass, bream, and catfish. Nature is my business, I'm a floral designer and shop owner of a florist in Starke, FL. I've been a part of the floral industry for over 30 years. I love the outdoors and enjoy relaxing in the beauty of our 35-acre property. I believe that being outdoors stimulates the body to heal, mind, body, and soul. My husband and sons are avid hunters, but they also enjoy just observing the wildlife. During hunting season, my husband Gene will sit in the tree stand for hours just to record the wildlife that crosses our land. Our family consists of me, my husband, the twins (Wyatt and Rhett) two horses; (Spanky and Camo) two dogs (Primer and Piper), and a new daughter-in-law, Savannah (Wyatt's wife). On most Sundays, we prepare a Funday Sunday meal for the family and spend quality time with the boys and their dogs. Oh, did I mention I'm a grand to two beautiful pups; Jade a Boykin spaniel, and Jessah a Chesapeake bay retriever. They love to duck hunt, and the pond is their fun space to swim and practice their training. We choose this place 25 years ago because it was private, quiet, and unique. We want to share it with others so they can experience the beauty of nature.
Why they chose this property
This property is a gem, no one knows about this unique place unless you know us. It is at the dead-end of the road and has multiple sightings of deer, turkey, and other small animals such as squirrels, rabbits, and birds. The pond is a beautiful 1/2 acre kidney-shaped pond that is fully stocked with bass, bream, and catfish. Privacy is the purpose of this property, you will have an exclusive stay with no other vacationers around. Just you and your family or friends to enjoy nature at its most pristine element.
What makes this property unique
Exclusivity!! Land all around you, bring your horses, and ride the management area. George's Lake is right around the corner and St Johns River is 23 miles from our area.
