Perfect ski weekend with your crew

The house was extremely clean and set up very well. The layout was different than expected but great to separate from noise if you want to go to bed early. Two rooms with big beds that can be shared, full size beds in the other 2. Plenty of bathrooms. Pool table/living room was incredible for the hangout. And the location was incredible for any mountain in summit county.

Wonderful property

Had a 3 night stay with family for a skiing vacation. Clean, comfortable, nice amenities with the pool table and hot tub. The view of the mountains in the back yard was beautiful to wake up to! The coffee pot was broken but a replacement was delivered very quickly. Would stay again for sure!

MLK Ski Trip

Had a great three-day ski vacation with family. House was as advertised. Plenty of room for our group. Bedrooms/bathrooms were comfortable and well-appointed. Kitchen was well equipped. Beautiful family room/game room with gas fireplace to warm up during the cold evenings. Hot tub was generous size, comfortable for all six of us to enjoy. Had a great stay!

Lovely Home

We had a fantastic time on the property. It’s cozy yet open. The back yard with the hot tub has a fantastic view, and it’s super close to A-basin! Great place to unwind after skiing all day! My only criticism is that we arrived an hour earlier than check in,abd told we could not check in early. This is fine and understandable, but we asked if we could at least stick our bags in the garage while we waited, and we were told no. I understand that they were not obligated to accommodate us, it just would’ve been a nice perk to have available and really boost it to that 5-star experience, since undoubtedly there are no prior tenants in the unit only an hour before our check-in.

The property was acceptable given fact that our original choice was pulled out from beneath us 48 hrs before our arrival. Original choice 3 doors away from the grandkids... The replacement rental was 2 miles away which completely changed the aspects of our family reunion. The impersonal nature of being informed of the change... An email at9:00 pm nite before we leave...and follow up calls to Belize! and Astoria to confirm the mandatory reservation changes made for stressful travel to Colorado. Never did hear directly from the local, summit county management team about our situation or a phone call asking if the change had worked out. For perspective, I was in property management for almost 20 years at a ski area in Montana and have dealt with situations such as ours and the importance of communication in these situations. Wont book stays through Vacasa ever again.

Would 100% stay here again! Great Family Spring Break!

This house suited our 4 person family well- it sleeps 8, so our 12 yo and 13 yo each had their own room and bathroom, and we had an extra bedroom to spare! The house's location is great- 5 mins to Keystone, I believe also Breckenridge, and close to town for grocery, pharmacy and restaurants. There was ample space in living room (both the mid-level and upstairs) for all of our bulky ski clothes, suitcases, etc to not feel like they were in our way. Kitchen was spacious- didn't feel tight quarters at all, the porches were lovely, although we could not use due to Winter snow storm. We used the hot tub every night- it was already prepped and warm, we only had to remove/replace the cover and turn jets on and off. So easy! We did not have a baby- but the downstairs master has an adjacent sitting area which would be perfect for a pack-n-play or other baby gear- even the downstairs master had plenty of space, should there be an infant or baby in the mix! We have already recommended this house to others- its a great rental! 2 full masters makes it great for 2 families, or a family + set of grandparents, etc. 2 masters with en suite, then 2 other spacious bedrooms that share a full bath. Entire house felt clean- walked around barefoot and never felt debris or dust/dirt on our feet from the floor. The pool table, card table and fireplace upstairs in game room were also so fun and a cozy space for spending time in the evening. Highly recommend, will return for sure!

Very disappointed with management communication

First off I want to preface this with this review could have been avoided if someone would have reached out to me. I asked over 3 times to have someone call me and nobody ever did which has now put me in the situation where I feel like I need to let others know. This culminated in eventual frustration over the smallest things that really made the trip unpleasant. Ranging from synthetic fiber towels that leave polyester fuzz all over your body and hair which later transfer to your clothing while also failing to properly dry you after the shower. The master shower did not drain properly. The toilet paper was thinner than the stuff handed out at the local food pantry (in an otherwise nice ski rental? Really?). Odd plumbing knocks and hammers. Flickering lights throughout when high wattage appliances used. And not once did the baseboard heaters get the house up to the set point of 68 degrees. The place also had a few safety concerns to note: only 3 of the 8 smoke detectors actually worked and the vent above the gas range doesn’t actually vent anything so if your sensitive to gas there is no way no not breathe it. Otherwise this is a nice comfortable place.

I've waited a few weeks to write this review to see if management was going to honor their word, but they didn't so here is what happened to me. I rented this home for two reasons, 1) my soon to be step-daughter was graduating from the University of Denver and 2) for my wedding. So, we get to the house late Wednesday night (June 8, 2022) and unload our two ice chest (one with frozen food and the other with food for the refrigerator) and at that that time I noticed that the refrigerator/freezer was cool, but not cold. Being that it was a long drive from central Texas I figured maybe it’s new and they just turned it on earlier that day. We wake up on Thursday morning and decide to eat breakfast on the road into Denver since we were spending the day there with my fiancé’s daughter, so we never opened the refrigerator/freezer. When we returned to the house late Thursday night my fiancé opened the freezer to take food out to defrost and was quite surprised that everything (several hundreds of dollars of food) was defrosted and all of the specialty ice cream for the wedding was melted. To make a long story short I was told by management that they would refund $150 for the refrigerator/freezer not working (the entire stay) along with paying for any lost food items and the ice needed for the stay. I was provided a small (hotel style) refrigerator on Friday, which didn’t hold much. Oh, and the hot tub was not ready for us to use until the day before we left. As of today, July 6, 2022 I have not received a refund or payment for the lost food and ice.

Very clean. Wish they had more hand towels but the set up of the home is perfect! Loved the upstairs family room. The washer and dryer work fabulously. Great location and quick to town and all the cool little neighboring towns. Definitely would stay there again!

Great spacious home…major pet hair problem!

This has the potential to be a great home. Lots of space, well stocked, private hot tub, etc. However, when we arrived there was a massive amount of pet hair everywhere! All over the carpeted floors and furniture. We couldn’t sit on any of the furniture. This was supposed to be a pet free home. We were super frustrated and disappointed. Vacasa did send a cleaning crew out the next morning and refunded our cleaning fee and we very much appreciate their efforts to make things right. However, we were still having issues with pet hair getting on everything. We were told that the owners had been their with their pets and Vacasa was unaware so I guess our beef is more with the owners than Vacasa. Just know if you rent this home that it is NOT pet free by any means and it’s pretty expensive considering you get covered in pet hair. I would insert pictures if I knew how so others could see that this is not a small problem!
