This updated 1920's bungalow is the perfect home away from home. It's located in Sunset Heights, less than 5 mi. from Downtown and less than 10 mi. from the Texas Medical Center, the world's largest medical complex. Get a neighborhood feel while still only being a short distance away from all Houston has to offer, tons of restaurants, local bars, farmers markets, shops, etc. The Li’l Blue Bungalow is fully furnished with 5-star amenities, a yard, securely gated and has a detached 2-car garage.

This house is a great place to stay when in Houston. It’s got a great location, quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, a ton of amenities and the attention to every detail is incredible. The owner is so helpful and responds quickly to questions. We had such a great time drinking coffee on the front porch. The house is so cutely decorated and the master bath is beautiful!

We definitely had a 10/10 experience at the Li'l Blue Bungalow. The house was just beautiful, VERY clean and well-appointed with all that we needed for a relaxing weekend! Kaitlin was wonderful and provided several recommendations that proved excellent. We walked to the coffee shop and the Houston Farmer's Market Saturday morning. We would definitely like to stay here again!

Great VRBO! Great location!

This vrbo was located in walkimg distancw to the Farmer's Market, backery, restaurants and in a safe neighborhood. It was very clean, updated, and nicely decorated. Big would recommend this vrbo to everyone.

Delightful Houston home

We loved our stay in the little blue bungalow! We were in Houston for a week over Christmas, visiting family in the area. The house is charming, well appointed, and centrally located. Secure garage. Nice plantings and tasteful seasonal decor. Loved the front and back porch, too

Great house

We were looking for a location near our daughter’s house and this was perfect. Cost was only a little more than staying in a hotel and so much nicer! Loved that we could park in the garage. Very nicely updated/decorated. Kaitlin always responsed to the few stupid ?’s I had quickly. Everything you need to know is in the book that I didn’t read (Lol). Great stay!

Clean & Cozy with the Best Beds

Kaitlin’s Blue Bungalow was so great for our weekend in Houston! The house felt cozy and inviting—it was like being hosted by friends! The house was also immaculately cleaned (better than many nice hotels). However, the best part was the beds! I’m a nitpicky sleeper, but I slept wonderfully here! The bedding was plush and comfortable, and Kaitlin provided a variety of pillow types. My partner slept amazing as well! We will definitely be booking the Lil Blue Bungalow for our next trip to Houston!

We loved our stay at the Li’l Blue Bungalow. The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful the interior is decorated and each room is better than the other. The neighborhood is very quiet but a short drive to nearby restaurants and stores. We especially loved the privacy of the garage and fenced yard. This place is a treasure to find near the Heights in Houston!We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Li’l Blue Bungalow. Best Weekend Ever!

We were there to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday. Although we live in Galveston, we wanted to do a close to home celebration. The area was perfect for downtown events, heights happenings and a trip to Rice Village for Sunday brunch. This was the most cozy and comfortable home you can imagine. So welcoming and beautiful. The hostess is so helpful and easy to reach. A beautiful place in an up and coming area. Walk the neighborhood. It’s well worth it. In addition, pricing is point on!

We checked out the Li'l Blue Bungalow for a 4 day stay to visit our son who lives in the Heights. Everything with this place is great! A seamless check in process set the agenda for the rest of our stay. This place is well appointed, with just about anything one would need in the kitchen. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were beautiful - one even included a claw-foot tub (if that's your thing...). Bonus: there is a garage around back that you can use for your stay! We hope to get back in here the next time we visit Houston.

This is a very nice two bedroom rental. Very clean and well appointed with all the things you need. Both in the kitchen and the bathrooms. The location was perfect for us, only five minutes from my son's house.

Clean and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at the Lil’ Blue Bungalow! The entire home was immaculately clean and the beds were super comfortable. The home was beautifully restored to a high standard. We were able to make a nice Thanksgiving dinner for ourselves and our daughter and felt quite at home there. We appreciated the coffee and snacks and other thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome. Kaitlin was very responsive to any questions we had. She also had many great dining and entertainment suggestions. We will gladly stay here again!

Super Clean & Cute Cottage

This was the cleanest VRBO property I’ve ever rented. It was very cozy and well appointed. It was easy to Uber to and from activities. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking to stay in the Heights. Communication with the owner was informative and timely.
