We loved our short stay that allowed space for family to reconnect. It was in a convenient area, the necessities were provided, and the care that was put in the space was noticeably.
Me and my friends loved this property we had so much fun ! Has everything you could possibly thing of and more . The floor plan is very open and great amount of sitting for everyone ! Host waas very helpful with early check in, and late check out .Will book again :)
This is obviously and older neighborhood in transition but as you drive around it looks much worse than it actually is. These are working class people in older homes,

The blinds on the windows are made of paper and taped to the windows. The neighborhood the house is in is very poor and I don’t think my car would have been there the next day if we had stayed. The house smells like cigarettes. The owner was very nice but I would not recommend staying in this house. I did not stay there. I wound up renting a hotel.
communicated well and responded to any questions promptly. our planes were delayed and we were graciously given a late check out without hassle. very appreciative of Chris.
Off bat it felt like a nice home to stay in. Me and my friends loved this house. We celebrated a birthday party and it was a success. The communication with the host was really nice and overall would come again!
The house was clean, we were not really there all that much as we came to town for Gen con. Good location, especially if you want to go to the state fair or children's museum and a straight shot downtown.
We booked the property a few days before our stay. The host was very responsive to messages and friendly. He allowed us to check in to the house a little earlier than the 4 pm check in time.
We were only visiting 2 nights for the children’s museum. The house is super close to the museum, less than 5 minutes! There is an abandoned building next to the house as stated in one of the other reviews. The neighborhood is a little run down but the house was was mostly quiet and has a lot of security measures. We appreciated the designated parking spots in the back of the house. Overall, it was a great stay! There was plenty of space in the house.
We had a comfortable stay during the Indy 500. Bedrooms are big; and there is good space in living room for one overflow guest. Chris was super responsive on questions; he quickly replaced the washer when it stopped working without no inconvenience to us. Neighborhood is up and coming and neighbors were friendly. There was even a block party with barbecue and the works on the Saturday of our stay. Would stay again.
Pros:
Minutes from downtown
*.5 mile from children’s museum
*15 minutes from zoo
*Super convenient parking pad at the back of house
*3 bedrooms
*Easy access in and out of home
*Great communication from Chris—we booked with less than 24 hours notice and had no issues with the reservation or getting into the house
*Fire stick tv for breaks
*Open floor plan downstairs
*huge fridge
*essential kitchen needs already there
*bathroom linens and supplies already stocked
Cons :
*Abandoned building right next door (3 steps away)
*Yard very uneven and had quite a bit of debris which limited outside time at the property.
*The furnace worked great, but the upstairs bedrooms heated unevenly, smaller rooms got very hot compared to large room.
*Renovations look great, but definitely some small details that aren’t quite perfect (window curtains are just the stick on paper ones—so no light blocking at all, front door was hung with a decent crack all around-draft the whole time we were there, uneven floors, trim pieces with gaps, so if that is your most important factor, this might miss your mark.
All of this to say it was perfect for us and would most likely be for you too! The access to the areas of interest for our kiddos made it exactly what we wanted.
I rented this place to have Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends, as my home is not big enough. Needless to say this place was more than accommodating, it’s updated and modern on the inside and out. The centralized location was perfect for everyone to find. The host was great, easy to get along with, and responded immediately with answering any questions that we had. Great experience overall.
