This was a perfect house for vacation, just minutes away from the Alamo and riverwalk. There was plenty of space for all of us. The hot tub was a bonus, everyone needed it after all the walking we did. Check in and out were super easy and the manager got back quickly to answer any questions we had.

Welcoming Neighborhood

We were very pleased when we drove up to the cutest little home so very near to the convention center, River walk and downtown San Antonio. Precious home, all bedrooms are separate and private, well stocked kitchen, large dining table, comfortable sofas in living area, spacious bedrooms and 3 private bathrooms. When visiting new places, we like to discover great coffee shops, find hole in-the-wall restaurants (as well as fine dining), and to try craft cocktails or local breweries + wine. We have kids and two dogs, which we have taken plenty of road trips and flights with. Finding clean, safe, modern, and fun accommodations is always important to us regardless of how long or far our adventures take us. We love hosting and entertaining!

Why they chose this property

We have family and friends throughout the great state of Texas, where San Antonio has served as a great middle point when we are in town. The city has grown, yet we love that it still has that warm and friendly feel to it. Over the pandemic we decided to purchase a vacation home so we could spend more time with loved ones, and we fell in love with the Lavaca neighborhood. It is charming, full of life, and the location made it a perfect area. The property ended up being an amazing and opportune find. It is so well connected, close to the airport, and in a safe and friendly neighborhood. It is in the heart of Downtown right across from all the must-see touristic attractions, and at the gateway of rich cultural local and artistic neighborhoods which are known as Southtown. I love that we can catch a concert, dine out, hang out in the city, or engage with the local artistic community. You can uber for under 10 dollars / 5 minutes and get to anywhere + anything you might need; it is even cheaper than paying for downtown parking! Many locals will park on our streets to catch events in the city.
The house is very welcoming and peaceful, you forget you are in town. The rooms are spacious, and the living areas are open + inviting. The property comfortably hosts 8 to 10 people. With 3.5 bathrooms and 5 stationary beds, we hope our guests feel welcome. With a fully equipped kitchen and top of the line appliances throughout the house, including contactless check-in, we aspire to provide a relaxed stay. The 7-person Hot Tub and the front porch should put your stay over the top.

What makes this property unique

The location is amazing. The layout of the living spaces gives your entire party a gathering place. The 7-person Hot Tub with its top-of-the-line cleaning features offers another space to share. The privacy that the rooms with their own full bathrooms provide ensures everyone will have their own space. The house allows your party to feel as connected or as private as they may need.
There is plenty of parking if you have your own vehicle, if not you can catch an Uber right away (due to its proximity to Downtown) and at a low rate since everything is so close by. You can also rent a scooter or bike from one of the many ride-share options!
