All this against the impressive backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea on one side and the hilly scrubland inland. Every evening you will enjoy an impressive sunset down on the beach and shortly after you will recognize the first lights of the opposite island Corsica in the distance. Your apartment is located in the center of the village, about 300 meters from the coast, and free parking is available 60 meters away. Although the apartment borders other houses on the side, it offers a pleasant privacy thanks to its independent entrance and private outdoor area. Elba is ideal for an authentic vacation by the sea: in vain you will look for endless rows of deckchairs on miles of beaches, because Elba is something for individualists who fall in love with a different bay every day? Even if the small island of Elba has a total surface of only 224 km2, it offers variety for everyone, because not only the coast is worth seeing, but also the inland has a lot to offer: an aquarium and a former mine that will delight your children, museums and places of art-historical interest for culture freaks, hiking trails through the Mediterranean scrub forest with stunning views of the sea, small ancient hamlets and tastings of the local ?Elbabianco? an excellent white wine whose grapes ripen on the steep slopes, and the dessert wine with the melodious name "Aleatico". The ferry port in Portoferraio is 28 km away.
