Property was great nice staff and amenities. Construction was happening whilst we stayed which made noise or longer walk arounds closed areas. Otherwise everything was good.

Host was absolutely excellent and responded pretty much instantly. A/C did not work very well, construction going on everywhere, loud dehumidifiers running super late into night, restaurant staff was rude and even argumentative about requests and simple questions about menu. Pool area was under construction but most was still open and hot tub was very hot (in a good way). Barely any sand on beach due to recent storms but allowed for better exploration of tide pools. Finally met an octopus out there. TLDR: would recommend host, have some notes for property but not a dealbreaker I guess. (Skip the restaurants)

Awful experience. Was told it was privately owned and I would not get any of the usual resort QOL things. Unfair to list it as a resort. I had to take my own trash out in the dumpster! Also, no room service. Room was stinky and difficult to get to. Had to go up several floors, just to cross a hallway, and then go down a floor before getting to the room. 0/10 would not recommend to my worst enemy.

The property was good. Pretty much as advertised. The buildings were a bit run down though.

The buildings needed paint and general attention to damage from the environment. Paint touch up, rust etc

Kauai Christmas

The property was great - location required a car rental which I didn't realize beforehand.. we had a really nice time... I do think a SMART TV should be in each room, as well as a coffee pot that I can actually go to the store and get coffee packs for.. like a KEURIG.... also.... an inexpensive microwave would have helped a lot.... the fridge was nice.

This room was just perfect for our stay. Everything was clean and the view is beautiful. There's just a little view of the ocean from the balcony, but it was enough. The view was scenic, and we were really happy with our choice. Crystal was incredibly responsive and positive at all times. There was a small hiccup in that one of the beach chairs was broken, but we informed Crystal right away and she was pleasant and glad we had mentioned it, so she could get another for the upcoming guests. The location is central and an ideal spot to begin and end your day. We enjoyed the pool area and jacuzzi a few times. The facilities are well maintained and the staff is really pleasant. The Naupaka Terrace restaurant had excellent variety and food quality; we ate dinner there twice and once for breakfast. I have to mention that the microwave mentioned in the amenities is not in the room, but two buildings away from the room. We had plans heat up coffee in the room, but chose not to because of the distance. Also, I would encourage you go ahead and message Crystal during your stay for towel replenishment (both beach and room). We didn't during our 5-day stay, but really maneuvered with drying towels on the balcony in order to have towels available for us for beach, pool and room. It would have been better to just have asked for towel replenishment half way through our stay. Overall, you're going to love this room and the facilities!!
