The Lazy Bear Lodge is a quiet family home nestled on the shores of Weber Lake in Mercer, WI. The Lazy Bear Lodge is a newer modern 4 bedroom/4 bath home accommodating up to 8 guests. Sleeping amenities include 5 queen beds and 1 queen futon. It boasts loads of spaces for entertaining (or relaxing), including a large great room, a walkout lower level, and a spacious wrap-around deck overlooking the lake. Amenities include WiFi, on-site laundry, a game room, and available paddle boards and kayaks by the lake. Weber Lake is a smaller non-motorized lake, perfect for fishing, paddle sports, and swimming! To keep your vehicles snow-free (or out of the sun), guests have use of the 2-car attached garage.

The Lazy Bear Lodge is situated just outside of Mercer, WI with nearby adventures for every season!

Snowmobile and ATV trails are accessible right out the front door. Epic bicycle trails (both on & off road) within minutes of the property. Winter downhill and xc ski trails close by Waterfalls everywhere, and other attractions in warmer months. Shopping and tons of great restaurants. County shooting range just south of town

Additional Property Details:

Amenities include on-site washer and dryer (with a supply of detergent pods), a dishwasher and other standard kitchen appliances (toaster, coffee maker, blender, etc). There just about everything you'd need for a meal (except the food). There are all kinds of pots & pans, a toaster, a microwave, a coffee maker, utensils and place settings. When it's time to relax in the cabin, enjoy chess, Uno, dominos, poker, or a number of other games supplied. You can watch one of the many DVD's in our on-site library, or stream your favorite blockbuster movie or TV show from one of the 65" screen TV's. The sleeping areas are comfortable and spacious, and the bathrooms are clean and modern. Towels, pillows, and linens are included (along with a supply of paper products for the kitchen and baths), so no need to bring anything but your ATVs, snow shoes, bicycles, skis, snowmobiles, or whatever else your adventures require.

Great place that has a boat load of space and easy access to the snowmobile trails. Go either way out of the driveway and you’ll find them.8 miles to Mercer by trail. Plenty of room for trucks and trailers. Easy to back out of the driveway as 51 is either direction from the driveway so no tight turns or any crafty maneuvering needed.The house itself is amazing. Very nice. Very well stocked. Zero complaints.Hosts are just like the property…..great to work with. We’re booked again in a couple weeks.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful property

A beautiful house with a wonderful view. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the house was immaculate. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms worked out great for our annual "Girls Week". We enjoyed the lake, the fire pit, and the beautiful seating areas on the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a very comfortable, clean place to stay with a beautiful deck overlooking the lake. The one major disadvantage to us was the fact there wasn't any furniture at all on the deck to sit on.

Wonderful home and gorgeous setting

Clean and comfortable with unbelievable views of a quiet and lovely lake. We even heard loons!! Kitchen was well equipped and beds were so comfortable. Only wish the deck had some coverage for sun exposure as we could only sit outside during early morning hours. The home is beautifully decorated and we loved the fire pit. Every one in our family raved about this venue

We have been coming to this property since it was built 10 years ago, as it was previously owned by by a family member. We are life-long Wisconsin residents, and fell in love with the Mercer area.. We are huge outdoors enthusiasts and Mercer has it all. We are avid bikers (both on and off road), and the nearby trails are truly world class. Iron County has amazing ATV and snowmobiling trails (the most in WI), and is well know as THE destination! From hiking waterfalls, cross country skiing, paddle boarding, and even shooting sports, Mercer was a no brainer destination for our adventures, and we want to share it with you!!

After purchasing this lake house, we converted it into a part-time family get-away and part-time vacation rental. We've spent months renovating and working to make this property rental-worthy. We hope you enjoy our slice of heaven in the north woods!
