Welcome to On The River Westside in Bend. Available for monthly stays and longer, this lovely riverfront home will be a peaceful retreat for your stay in Bend. Located on Bend's very popular westside, this home is only a few blocks walk to popular coffee shops and brew pubs.

Relish your riverfront perch from the master bedroom hot tub on the outdoor deck. Featured in an issue of Cascade East magazine in 2006, nearly every room in the house has a river view. Enjoy views from all the bedrooms as well as the light and bright kitchen, dining and living room. From the living room, you can watch the stand-up paddle boarders and floaters drift by or hop in and join them!

This is the perfect home to experience Bend living in an unbeatable location. You will have the entire main floor and upstairs of the home, accessed via a “lushly landscaped” private entry, to yourself. There is a “break-away” downstairs basement living space with its own private, separate entrance and patio. Occupied by a caretaker, you are not required to share any indoor or outdoor spaces.

DOWNTOWN LOCATION
The lovely home offers the perfect Bend location! The Deschutes River is your backyard. You are steps from all the shops and restaurants on Galveston Avenue. Downtown and the Old Mill District are walkable too. This home is truly in the heart of Bend. You’ll love walking to a show at the Les Schwab Amphitheater, dinner downtown and so much more. And of course, Mt Bachelor and your favorite cross-country skiing, mountain biking and hiking areas are just 20+ miles up the road.

HEATING & COOLING
This riverfront home has central heat and A/C on the main floor. There is a mini split heat and A/C unit upstairs to keep you cool in the summer. Or hop into the river in your backyard for a crisp morning wake up!

In the living room a natural wood burning fireplace (easy to light with a gas lighter) will keep you warm and cozy on any chilly night too. Take a close look at the rocks making up the fireplace mantel. They were collected over the years from around the Pacific Northwest. Upstairs in the master you'll have heat from the mini split unit and ambiance from a gas fireplace to warm your toes all night.

SLEEPING AND BATH ARRANGEMENTS
Nothing better than sleeping on the river... Take your pick of the 3 river view bedrooms (King, Queen, Queen Sleeper Sofa) and 3 bathrooms. The king and queen bedrooms have private ensuite bathrooms. All beds feature crisp, high thread count linens and European style bedding. This home sleeps 6 very comfortably.

The upstairs master bedroom (king), is an oasis with an unencumbered upstream view of the Deschutes River. The master bedroom also has private access to the private balcony with hot tub, so quickly claim that bedroom for yourself! The natural stone/glass block shower in the ensuite master bath, designed with a “peek a boo” view of the river, and large soaking tub will make you feel like you’re at the spa. The master has a 42” smart TV with cable. There is a walk-in closet big enough for all your belongings.

The main floor 2nd bedroom, adorned with bright central American décor, has a comfy queen bed, an ensuite bathroom with shower, an armoire to hold all your belongings, a 32” smart TV (antenna only, no cable) and a private sitting area outside the sliding glass door with a gorgeous view of the Deschutes River.

You can use the main floor 3rd bedroom as an office or a family, exercise or craft room, if you prefer. It has a comfortable queen sleeper sofa with a TEMPUR-Topper Supreme 3-inch Mattress Topper, a 32” smart HDTV (antenna only, no cable), and a small sink. Perfect for snacks and movie or work with a peek-a-boo river view and private porch overlooking the entryway water feature and stream. A Pack & Play Crib is also provided for your little one if needed. Fresh linens always on hand to keep you extra cozy.

KITCHEN AND DINING
The living, dining and kitchen spaces are open, spacious with river views at every window. Curl up on the leather sectional with electric recliners to enjoy both the river view and a 72” HDTV TV with Bend Broadband cable, Alpha DVR and an Apple TV. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need! You'll have some spices, oils and basic supplies to get you started too. There is a dining table for 6 and an outdoor patio table on the deck overlooking the river. The gas BBQ is ready year-round at a moment’s notice for grilling.

TV AND FREE WIFI
Free 100 Mbps Bend Broadband WIFI. If you need faster speeds, please inquire and we can see about accommodating you. This home has 4 smart TVs. In the living room is a large 74” HDTV TV with Bend Broadband cable, Alpha DVR and Apple TV. The master bedroom has a 42" smart TV with cable. There are 2-32" smart TVs, one in each of the queen and queen sleeper bedrooms. These 2 smaller smart TVs are streaming and antennae only, no cable.

OUTDOOR SPACES
Tuck into this hidden oasis. A very private garden path winds from the street toward the river and to your front door. A few steps beyond your front door, is a terraced backyard that gently steps down to the river.

If you are bringing water toys, you'll love having your own small dock for launch. Whether you are inside or outside, you'll love the sweeping views up river. This home truly brings the outside in.

** This is a quiet residential neighborhood! A Stone's Throw Bungalow homes are not appropriate for noisy groups and quiet hours are enforced after 10pm **

PARKING
You will have dedicated access to the single car garage for parking and/or storage. The single car garage is outside access only. You will have exclusive access and use of the driveway. Take advantage of free and plentiful parking available in the paved driveway for up to 3 cars.

NO PETS PLEASE
We love animals! But pets are not allowed in this home due to allergy concerns.

PRIVATE SPACES
Please be aware that when not rented to outside parties, the owners maintain residence at this home. Hence certain areas are locked off for their personal use and are not included in the description or approximate square footage of the home described above.
