We lived in Soldotna, Alaska from 1978 to 2004 and vacationed in Scottsdale many times.
We made the move to Scottsdale in 2004 and put our roots down deep in the Rio Verde area. We purchased the home in Tonto Verde in July 2021 and love the community of Tonto Verde, the amenities, and the people. We play water volleyball six months a year and have met so many fun people from this one sport. We use the fitness center, Bocce ball, pool, play bingo and trivia and love the private restaurant Mesquite Grill. Our daughter says it is like "Pleasantville". Most everyone has a golf cart and they all wave at you when passing. Very friendly neighbors.

Why they chose this property

Tonto Verde is a custom home 55 and older Golf Community but also welcomes the kids and grandkids to join us. There are two other 55 and older clubs in the same immediate area, Trilogy and Rio Verde Golf Club. Tonto has the larger lots, custom homes and is gated. Tonto has mature landscaping and the golf courses are impeccable.

What makes this property unique

Our home is unique because it is wheelchair friendly, tile throughout (no carpet), four bedrooms (three with king beds) and one with twin beds. Very impressive large open great room, upscale appliances, three car garage and property was new in 2021. The property has only been used for seasonal rental.
