I should have read the reviews
Location: this house is located near downtown Asheboro, even close enough to walk to the main strip. I walked to Magnolia for dinner one night. Its adjacent to a road that is the one of the main routes to downtown and resultant of that you will hear traffic. However if you like to people watch the front porch will be entertaining. House: the house could have used a good cleaning prior to our arrival. There were visable dust bunnies behind the bathroom door, under furniture and behind the bed. The washing machine and dishwasher were non-operable. The WiFi password was written on the chalk board but we were unable to connect to it. The TV had apps for streaming, but we were unable to use those due to the WiFi connection issues so we watched local channels. The bed was comfortable and my wife loved the circular couch thing. There was a leak on the shower head that was "repaired" with camo duct tape.

Not bad
The second bedroom was a laundry room / closet. And you also had to go through the main bedroom to get to the closet bedroom. So my son slept on the couch.

It is very convenient to stay in when visiting the zoo. Will most likely use again if I go back to Asheboro.

Spot on for our NC Zoo vacation
Convenient location to downtown shops, local parks, stores, restaurants, only 10 minutes from the Zoo, and 30 minutes to additional activities in Greensboro. Comfortable beds. Enjoyed the kitchen and large screen TV. While the neighborhood view and yard aren't spectacular, we weren't expecting them to be, and it didnt impact our vacation experience. We really enjoyed lounging in the front patio rockers. For the price, location, and great service, this property was spot on for our 3 night vacation.

Good for a short stay, but needs a deep cleaning.
My family and I stayed here for 2 nights. It’s a convenient spot for short stays like zoo trips and visiting surrounding attractions. The house pretty much looks like the online photos, but there are two things that just didn’t sit well with me. 1) A deep cleaning, even just a more thorough cleaning, is long overdue. There was so much food around and under the couch that I shuddered to retrieve the remote when it fell on the floor. Lots of dust in the bathroom. There are tons of smudges and handprints on all the doors that a quick swipe of a magic eraser would do wonders. 2) Check the windows because they were all unlocked!! It was a little unnerving to be honest. I checked them all and locked them. The window sills are also very dirty and the blinds so old that they were tough to work with. The neighborhood is ok. Lots of cars with loud music at night but no real foot traffic. It is conveniently just a few blocks away from the quaint downtown area with good restaurants and shops.
