Take a walk along the harbor and visit one of the restaurants right by your apartment, or explore the charming streets around the center of Bogense, a wonderful area. Odense, Denmark's third largest city, is just 25 km from your apartment. By the marina is a playground for the little ones and outdoor fitness activities for older ones. There is also a free swimming beach.



The unique nature of northern Funen is perfect for excursions by bike or on foot. Discover idyllic villages, castles and country estates, as well as traces from Viking times along the small paths that wind through the beautiful landscape. In the north, the only dune area and the largest heath of Funen also awaits you. In the northeast lies the Hindsholm peninsula with several smaller islands and headlands such as Romsø and Enebærodde. The landscape was formed by the Ice Age, and many of the natural areas are home to exciting flora and fauna. The low water in the bays of the Little Belt is a popular breeding ground for many birds and ducks. At the northernmost tip of Hindsholm is the beautiful nature area of Fyns Hoved, with views over water and land that stretch for miles. Visit Den Fynske Landsby and experience a rural village as it looked in the days of the poet H.C. Andersen. In the old part of Odense you can also visit his birthplace.
